Thursday, June 28, 2012. Googled myself and found this. Thanks to the lovely artist who made this. I found it on http:/ paintedstars.tumblr.com/. It's a small literary world we live in. I am constantly thinking of collaborating with a visual artist to make a fun poetry comic. this has inspired me to think harder on the effort. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Thursday, July 28, 2011. Linked and Built Together. When looking up, "Truth against the world," I fell upon this Frank Lloyd Wright quote, and it made me feel as if I am meant to be studying the man further as if I will continue to discover through his words and work (especially appropriate as I have been temping as a receptionist at an architect firm lately). Wednesday, July 13, 2011. I have scaled these city walls. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). There were wrecks and wrecks, the keeper said.

Tuesday, November 22, 2011. Commercials and Poetry: How Levis has been giving me the shivers. A little while back, I did a blog post on The Beats, it was Jack K's b-day on that day. I included a clip of Tom Waits reading, "The Laughing Heart." G-damn I love that poem. And then later, I was sitting in the movie theatre, a few months ago, and I literally almost jumped out of my seat when I saw Levi's had done a commercial, "Go Forth." that featured Bukowski's poem. Thank you, Levi's. 4 Does my work feel bo...

Sleepless in St. Paul: My bad...
http://bethany-sleeplessinstpaul.blogspot.com/2008/08/my-bad.html
Sleepless in St. Paul. Friday, August 1, 2008. So, I'm apparently already getting off to a rocky start with this new blog. It has been several weeks since I've posted anything.but you know, life has been calling! I'm completely moved into my new apartment! I was able to move in much sooner than I originially thought, which has been the best thing that could possibly happen. I'm sure I'm like everyone else in sharing this general sentiment: moving flat out sucks! My new neighborhood is really great! Wide ...

Sleepless in St. Paul: BEHOLD! I have achieved soup!
http://bethany-sleeplessinstpaul.blogspot.com/2008/08/behold-i-have-achieved-soup.html
Sleepless in St. Paul. Wednesday, August 20, 2008. I have achieved soup! Well, lately I've been in a very experimental mood.no, not experimenting with drugs, but experimenting with food! I do not consider myself a pro by any means, but I'm also not fully incompetent. I was so amazed (and still am) by the color! It's the most unnatural shade of green I've ever seen. Usually you don't put colors like that into your body, but, stunningly, this soup was delicious! Exhibit A: Single soup bowl. St Paul, MN.

Sleepless in St. Paul: August 2008

Sleepless in St. Paul. Sunday, August 24, 2008. I'll never forget you. A poem I found in the room of a friend:. The More Loving One. Looking up at the stars, I know quite well. That, for all they care, I can go to hell,. But on earth indifference is the least. We have to dread from man or beast. How should we like it were stars to burn. With a passion for us we could not return? If equal affection cannot be,. Let the more loving one be me. Admirer as I think I am. Of stars that do not give a damn,. Exhib...
