http://furr-real.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 28, 2012. Is now 15 months old. If I had to sum up his personality in a few words it would be. adventurous, mega silly and mischievous. And here is a pic that really shows his true colors. He is starting to say lots of words-. Ei ei (e-i-e-i-o on Old MacDonald song). Points and says "no! To things he knows he's not supposed to touch. He likes to back up and plop down on your lap - especially when he wants you to read him a book. Will shake his booty when you ask him if he can dance. He is ...

Furr-real: Monkey bars
http://furr-real.blogspot.com/2015/02/monkey-bars.html
Tuesday, February 10, 2015. Troy and I have been brainstorming house projects a lot lately. We decided on building something to keep the boys active even when it's cold outside. In just a few days, this was added to the boys room. Monkey bars with a small rock wall on one end and a rope on the other end. Little Ro is a serious climber! He'll be on the rock wall in no time. Troy added ropes with carabiners for extra fun. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Modern Alternative Mama - Blog.

http://furr-real.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 1, 2015. Our Family - April 2015. Links to this post. It is hard to believe that SEVEN years ago I became a mama. The time goes by too quickly, that's for sure. My little baby is growing up and becoming quite the awesome little boy. He is one thoughtful, athletic, loving, smart, kindhearted, silly, sweet. always-hungry, grouchy-when-he-doesn't-get-enough-sleep. otherwise mostly happy, basketball playing guy. Playing video games (and would play all day if we let him). He does NOT like. We invi...

http://furr-real.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 24, 2012. Little Z is now 16 months old. He is a bundle of fun energy. He likes to Go, Go, Go! Says "up" and "fat". Blows on his food to cool it down. Now prefers to feed himself with a fork/spoon instead of being fed by one of us. Likes to go for rides on the ATV. Freely gives hugs and kisses to us. Has resumed his signature scream when he doesn't get what he wants. Responds to simple requests (like "sit down" and "bring that back"). Likes to brush his hair. Links to this post. And no visi...

Train up a child in the way he should go, And even when he is old he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6). Sunday, July 24, 2011. I often get those looks of "are you crazy" and (insert a touch of sarcasim) those much appreciated questions/statements like. Are they all yours? Did you plan them? Do you wish one would have been a boy? You're brave, I'd couldn't go out by myself with that many kids, I'd hate to see what your wedding bills Will be in 20 year! Why not go out! This is not to say that some d...

Friday, August 29, 2014. Kate's 21 Month Letter. Happy 21 months, sweet girl! In a few short months, you'll be 2 years old! I can't believe it. You have been like a sponge lately.just constantly showing off how much you're learning and absorbing! You are definitely opinionated now, especially when it comes to your daily activities. If you aren't in the mood to do an activity, you make sure everyone knows.generally by shouting, "No! We've had a busy summer! You were the flower girl for Chelci's wedding in...

Furr-real: November 2013
http://furr-real.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 22, 2013. November. so far. With my estimated due date only 5 days away, we have busy around the house. One of the projects was to paint the "pink room" a more suitable color for baby boy #3. I settled on a very neutral color. 2 coats of primer and a thick coat of paint later. Also decided to paint the boys' bedroom a fun teal color. Links to this post. In mid-October we went with family to a pumpkin patch. The kids had a LOT of fun! Z and (very pregnant) me on the slide-.

Friday, September 27, 2013. Vacation, moving and so much more. The last few months have been. hmm, what's the word? In May we vacationed in Orlando, FL. We had a great time visiting 2 of our dear friends. Hopefully it won't be another 6 years before we see them again. We went to Wekiva State Park one day. The boys had fun on the canoe we rented. And didn't seem to mind the VERY cold pond there where we went swimming. And we all really enjoyed the Toy Story ride. One evening we enjoyed a good meal with aw...

Train up a child in the way he should go, And even when he is old he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6). Sunday, February 20, 2011. Cork Screw hair bows. Here is a simple out line of how to make those super cute curly hair clips. I always thought they would be harder to make. Now that I know how it has saved us alot of $ . :). Ribbon (I have found the thinner the better it works). Doll rods (make sure they are short enough to fit in your oven ;D). Oven- preheated to 350 degrees. T 3-4 inches). ...
