John, Kate and Kaylee. Friday, November 25, 2011. We are incredibly THANKFUL this year to be back in California! John worked this morning and then we spent the afternoon and evening with my Aunt Jenifer, Uncle Laure, cousins Phillip, Kelly and Bryan! I also made Kaylee's Thanksgiving dress this morning when I realized that nothing in her closet was very "festive". Oddly enough, "Turkey" is Kaylee's nickname so I thought this fabric would be fitting for both her and the holiday! Thursday, November 17, 2011.

John, Kate and Kaylee. Friday, April 13, 2012. It seems that most everyone these days has an iPhone or smart phone of some sort and, in turn, has bought into the "instagram" world. We do not have smart phones, infact ours are pretty dumb. Not to mention that I love an actual camera, oh what I would give for a DSLR (a camera with interchangeable lenses)! But woe is me. What drives me nuts in the Instagram world is the amount of photos I see with the 70's filter over them. People! Easter Sunday at church.

John, Kate and Kaylee. Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Sob sob sob, boo hoo, sniff sniff. I was talking to one of my cousins tonight about how sad I am that Kaylee turned 2 yesterday. It has nothing to do with wanting her to stay a baby, it has everything to do with her growing up.does that even make sense? Go ahead and laugh at me, I'll just wallow by myself. ;). Even among the bouts of independence, she is still the sweetest little girl I've ever met, and I'm really not just saying that because she's my baby!

John, Kate and Kaylee. Sunday, May 20, 2012. Yesterday we went up to my Uncle Laure' and Aunt Jenifer's property near Kings Canyon National Park. The goal was to plant little Christmas trees and have a lot of family fun.both goals were achieved and here's the proof! Hollowed out logs make good forts! Look Out Point -. This is where I viewed from. This is where the guys viewed from. In a few years we get to go back up and harvest them for Christmas! Putting the sawdust around the trees for insulation.
