the NELSONS: March 2015
http://nelsonopoly.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 19, 2015. St Patty's Day 2015. The night before St. Patrick's Day, Tanner and Landon were in charge of FHE activity and treat so they worked together to plan to decorate mini cakes. This is a family favorite around here. We each got our own cake and went to town. I love watching everyone's different approach to things. Forget the cake decorating altogether and eat handfuls of skittles instead. Decorates a perfect St. Patrick's Day confection and shares it with Mom. Tuesday, March 10, 2015.

the NELSONS: August 2015
http://nelsonopoly.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 29, 2015. First Day of School 2015. Tanner was the perfect big brother and coached Landon on all things "school." They both came home excited and happy, so hopefully that means we have a great school year ahead of us. I found this sweet little note on the back of one of Landon's coloring papers. I guess he did miss me at least a little. ;) So relieved things went well and we'll count it as a success. Posted by Dean, Andrea, Tanner, Landon, and Braddock. Friday, August 28, 2015. Ear tugs ...

Friday, August 7, 2015. Holden Beach - Glow Stick Dance Party. One night we were there ended up being rather rainy, but it just so happened to be the night we had passed out glow-sticks in connection with our "Let Your Light Shine" devotional that night. We put them to good use and the kids had a blast dancing all night long. Hylie - Amy - Braddock - Landon - Eli - Tanner - Hyrum. Posted by Dean, Andrea, Tanner, Landon, and Braddock. Pretty fun dance party :). August 8, 2015 at 3:28 PM. Is one mischievou...

the NELSONS: July 2015
http://nelsonopoly.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 31, 2015. The Odds and Ends. I thought I'd wrap up the Utah posts with a few of the random pictures of the little things we did. We sure loved our time with family and friends. Went to "Savior of the World" with Scott and Laura put on by their St ake's Youth. Helped Melissa celebrate the big 3-0. This kid was the WORST sleeper while were there. Here he is after crashing due to lack of sleep. Funny picture, but it was great to visit Grandpa Leavitt's grave. Sure miss him! Just hanging with Dad.

the NELSONS: Holden Beach - Family Photos

Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Holden Beach - Family Photos. Considering how few and far between it is that the entire family is together, we of course had to take the opportunity to snag some new family photos. Dianne, Mom, and Dad worked together to design and order some awesome shirts for everyone in honor of a family favorite growing up that the "original" Nelsons all wore to Disneyworld. They turned out cute and we even squeezed in a reenactment photo as well. What great photos of an amazing family!

the NELSONS: Holden Beach, NC
http://nelsonopoly.blogspot.com/2015/08/holden-beach-nc.html
Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Holden Beach, NC. A couple of days after we got back from Utah we packed up again and drove to North Carolina to be with all the Nelson's for a week at the beach. If I'm were to be totally honest, packing and driving again after just finishing so much driving was not the top of my to do list, but I knew once we got there it would be worth the effort and boy was it ever! These two cuties were pretty popular passing from person to person. The kids played game after game after game.

the NELSONS: Holden Beach - Minute To Win It
http://nelsonopoly.blogspot.com/2015/08/holden-beach-minute-to-win-it.html
Sunday, August 9, 2015. Holden Beach - Minute To Win It. We finished up the week with a bunch of wild "Minute-To-Win-It" games. We split into two big groups to "compete," and each family had come prepared with the supplies and rules for two games. Everyone got in on the action and it was fun to see the surprising new skills we didn't know some people had. Posted by Dean, Andrea, Tanner, Landon, and Braddock. What great fun for the whole gang! the NELSONS: November 2014
http://nelsonopoly.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 30, 2014. He is the Gift. We got one exciting new gift already this year from Grandpa and Grandma Hilton. The boys were so excited to get the Fisher Price nativity, and I was so excited that now they have a nativity I don't have to stress about them getting their hands on and breaking! In the hustle and bustle of the holiday season we sometimes lose sight of what it's all about, and what the first gift of Christmas truly was. Check out this video for the perfect reminder. . . He is talki...

Tuesday, April 21, 2015. This year Tanner decided he didn't want to play soccer anymore. It wasn't really his thing, but Landon has been SOOO excited for soccer to start. This past Saturday was his first game and it was just as comical as we had anticipated. Nothing beats 4 and 5 year old sports. We're excited for a great season.
