Back to the Blog…let’s celebrate! Celebrating Moms….or Mums →. July 17, 2013. Newer posts →. The Alternative Tour of NYC. April 21, 2012. I’ve just spent a great week being a tourist with my parents in New York City. The last time they came to visit me here they stayed a short walk away from Times Square, right in the centre of the madness, in August. It was crazy, hot and exhausting. I know they enjoyed the experience but I realised in retrospect that it wasn’t that much of a relaxing break for them. My sister just called me and said there are some bird watchers on their way to t...

Part 2: The Wannabe Redneck. Part 3: The Necromancer and the Caliwhornian. Anyways, lon...

Gusts of Popular Feeling. Life, the universe, and a bit of philosophizing. David Choe on Dating Koreans. October 24, 2013. Don’t kill the messenger. I recently came across this article. In which David Choe, a Korean-American artist, describes Koreans (himself included) as “undateable.” In his words,. Korean women are] overbearing; jealous; unreasonable; like, unrealistic about life; demanding. But also the men too. If you’re a woman, I would never recommend dating a Korean guy. She did not give me a stra...
