Renovations of the Heart: July 2011
http://renovationsoftheheart.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 31, 2011. I found a steal of a deal on Living Social and bought Tea for Two at a local Tea Room. Charis got all fancy and we headed out for our date. The date was complete with a room full of older ladies eager to watch Bear twirl in her dress. She ordered Apple Cinnamon tea in her very own Birthday Cake teapot. And she drank the entire pot, complete with 2 sugar cubes per cup. I didn't figure out until the end that she was scooping sugar right off the bottom. Ha! Thursday, July 28, 2011.

Renovations of the Heart: February 2010
http://renovationsoftheheart.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 27, 2010. Charis cracks me up almost daily.sometimes multiple times. Here's a little sample of what's coming out of her mouth these days. Clutching her toys close to her chest: "I'm using my boobies to help me carry the toys". After telling Charis we were having mashed potatoes with dinner, she said, "I don't like mashed potatoes. In the name of Jesus, I don't like mashed potatoes. She came out of her room and I was doing pilates. I told her it was pilates. It is too messy! A and C are...

Renovations of the Heart: June 2011
http://renovationsoftheheart.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 14, 2011. Jesus, I love you! Oh the things your children can teach you, and how He can minister through them. Bear was told by her Sunday school teacher recently that they can tell Jesus they love him when they wake and when they go to sleep. So a few nights ago, I hear her shouting LOUDLY "Jesus, I love you! I LOVE. YOU! Worship with me. You do it like this. I LOVE YOU JESUS! And you can say it loud, or quiet. He just likes it any way you say it.". He just likes it, any way I say it. Then ...

Renovations of the Heart: January 2010
http://renovationsoftheheart.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 30, 2010. How long it's taken me to download Christmas pictures and post them. Okay, not almost. It is sad. Here's my 2nd to last post on Christmas. Seriously. I'm pretty sure. Grandmama and Charis. She's in her nineties! Charis's new toothbrush. She. To brush those teeth! Keex showing Atalie how to ride her horsie. We were making faces, and this was a genuine happy face. Usually I get that goofy squinty eye thing. This was in response to "Charis, look at the camera! Kisses for the sis.

Renovations of the Heart: March 2010
http://renovationsoftheheart.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 17, 2010. Atalie is learning to feed herself, so many times after lunch time.well, she needs a good scrub down. Charis got her first haircut! It was barely an inch but it made all the difference. Atalie is enjoying dress up, and Charis is enjoying dressing her. And as you can see, Atalie is developing quite the personality. :). Thursday, March 4, 2010. Monday, March 1, 2010. Major's 6th birthday was on Valentine's day. The girls and I decided to bake him a cake and celebrate! We have bee...

Renovations of the Heart: May 2010
http://renovationsoftheheart.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 26, 2010. Charis didn't eat nearly as many this year. She was more concerned with finding ladybugs (which were there in multitudes) and giving. Our freshly picked berries. She was convinced that's what they wanted to eat. :). Atalie could be found doing one of two things: tripping or eating. She ate the berries stem and all. Can't wait 'til blueberry picking time! Thursday, May 6, 2010. A little April recap, since I'm totally behind in every aspect of life these days. How to Get Your Child...

Renovations of the Heart: September 2010
http://renovationsoftheheart.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 24, 2010. A week or so ago, Charis asked her daddy if. Could go on a date. So he planned, thought, and prepared, and came up with a date perfect for such a little princess. He stopped by Panera Bread and bought some pumpkin muffies (and was questioned by the cashier about his proudly worn pink beaded bracelet, made by Charis), prepared a tea party type lunch, and took her to the Lotus Park. Saturday, September 18, 2010. Atalie's first big ride! And grabbed Brian and Austin's hands.

Renovations of the Heart
http://renovationsoftheheart.blogspot.com/2011/07/6-months-cute-man-is-already-6-months.html
Thursday, July 28, 2011. Cute man is already 6 months! Weighing in at almost 18 pounds, already in 9 month clothing. Too cute for words, hands down the happiest baby ever. His first 2 teeth popped up at 4 months, and he's got one on top and three more coming in on that top row. His sisters are seriously in love with this boy. Care Bear is amazing with him, drawing pictures for him constantly, talking with him and "teaching" him his letters. A-Bean. Love having this sweet baby around.love it. We have been...

Renovations of the Heart: April 2010
http://renovationsoftheheart.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 5, 2010. My mom made the girls Easter bonnets! Charis pretty much wanted to wear hers everywhere and Atalie, uh.pretty much didn't. Keeping it on her head longer than 10 seconds was pretty difficult. But getting a picture in it? Not too happy about the dirt and grass on her feet. Charis's glazed over smile. We headed off to church, enjoyed service and worshiping, and then home for lunch. Then we met Brian's family at the zoo. It was perfect weather! Zoo pictures to come. We have been wo.
