These are the things I'm made of. Grieving the loss of our stillborn son. February 16, 2015. Feeling Joseph’s absence a lot lately. No particular reason. Except maybe I’m so in love with M that I am stunned by all I am missing. This entry was posted in Reflections. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. These are the things I'm made of. Grieving the loss of our stillborn son. June 28, 2015. Two and a half (the loss of you). Walking through the house claiming rooms. Touching this, touching that. Standing on tiptoes to see over. Crouching down to peer under. Your chubby legs, in shorts for the summer, lengthening. Able to climb onto the sofa without a stool, then onto the bed. Sitting at the table sometimes instead of your high chair. Your babbles. Your first words. Complete sentences. There are still a h...

These are the things I'm made of. Grieving the loss of our stillborn son. May 28, 2015. I held a little baby the other day. A boy, born at 37 weeks, now a week old. He was so tiny. Everything in miniature eyelids, pointy nose, mouth open in sleep. A little over five pounds, his mother said. I have been consumed with thoughts of you lately. It is May, after all. The month you were conceived. Three years ago this time, you were just a little seed. An enormous hope. We were so happy. Closer, and hug. Thank ...

These are the things I'm made of. Grieving the loss of our stillborn son. June 23, 2016. Death and the Woman. Once there was a woman who was good friends with God. They spent time together and talked daily. But Death came for the woman’s firstborn and after that God didn’t come around anymore. And really, who could blame God for staying away while Death was there? The woman didn’t much feel like talking to anyone, anyway. God, where are you? She called out. I thought you would be here. Get away from here!

Saturday, September 14, 2013. Everything Reminds Me of Her. This meme is from Glow in the Woods. A website I started frequenting just before Flora passed away. I desperately needed to know that there were others out there who felt what I felt, and the posts on that website have helped me tremendously. Anyway, here is the meme:. What was it like to hear about those losses? 2 Did anyone who had already experienced babyloss reach out to you in the months after your loss? 5 What role has the internet played ...

With all the emotion of the last couple of weeks, I nearly forgot to do this month’s update. Which would be a shame because we’re having an incredible burst of development over here! Cognitive development has leaped forward as well. Moose is clapping, nodding “yes” when asked a question (even if the question is, “Are you a walrus, Moose? Our trip to Montreal also marked Moose’s first...

coming into color | following my sun

https://followingmysun.wordpress.com/2013/09/12/coming-into-color

The loveliest and the saddest landscape in the world. I don’t feel like i have much to say these days. mostly i draw. unlike a few weeks ago, i don’t feel angry or crushed, just resigned, and i find myself putting one foot in front of the other without thinking too much about where i’m going. So we are slowly climbing out of the dark hole we’ve been in and from there back onto that unpredictable horse. i wouldn’t say that i’m hopeful, but at least i’m still moving my feet. Could it bring me back you? This is not real. Posted by lilac wine. Asymp; Leave a comment. I studied artsy movies (of course- that was cool! But there is also this other side of me which indulges in trashy movies. Name any movie or TV series which involves apocalyptic imagery (yeah, there is no good in denying: I love The Walking Dead) or the fantastic, I have probably seen it. In that spirit, two nights ago we saw The Divergent! 8221; And thereby liberate myself. But I just cannot let my self go there.

The Things I Make

The Things I Make. Thursday, July 12, 2012. Needless to say, I've been crafting, just not blogging about it. So, most of these pictures probably aren't the best quality because they are from my phone and usually at night when I finish my project. Hopefully you'll still be able to see all that I have been doing! These are barefoot sandals for little babies. I was gonna try and get pictures of them on a baby foot tonight but the baby was a bit fussy so it didn't happen. :(. Wednesday, January 25, 2012.

The things I make and sell

The things I make and sell. Monday, November 15, 2010. If you are anything like me you work very hard for a living, raising the kids, running the house and even holding down a "proper" job? On top of this you choose to open your online shop because you love to make things or are passionate about life gone bye. In these difficult times wouldn't it be great to supplement the sales from our shops and get those little extras by trading or swapping the things we have! Then Swap Workshop is the place for you.

The things I'm into these days. The things I'm into changes. Some days, it's all about my crafts. Spinning, carding, weaving, knitting, crochet, and whatever else I decide that I need to do or learn to do. Some days, I'm all about cooking new foods and trying new recipes! Some days, are lazy days for just sitting around watching TV. Some days are all about my kids and what's going on with them. Some days, it's just about being 'normal', whatever that is. This blog is about all those days. Thank you to my...
