Idiopathies: Great Expectations
http://idiopathies.blogspot.com/2010/10/great-expectations.html
After working just one day in the General Pediatrics clinic, I have already developed an unsettling fear: what if my future children aren't perfect? What if I have a kid who is dumb? What if I have a kid who is ugly? What if I have a kid who is anxious or shy? What if I have a kid who doesn't enjoy the outdoors? And worst of all. what if I have a kid who is tone-deaf? Idiopathies: This Is the End
http://idiopathies.blogspot.com/2012/05/this-is-end.html
This Is the End. Thank you, reader, for following me through this adventure. And what an adventure it has been! The memories created along the way will stick with me forever, from my riskiest. From my most obsessive. To my most disinterested. From my most hardworking. To my most expensive. From my most worried. To my most relaxed. To my most sobering. From my most scientific. To my most musical. And from my proudest. To my most embarrassing. Tuesday, May 22, 2012. May 22, 2012 at 11:33 AM. My name is Sam.

Idiopathies: I Did It For the Lulz
http://idiopathies.blogspot.com/2011/11/i-did-it-for-lulz.html
I Did It For the Lulz. It was because of my own hubris. I had a flight out of JFK at 6am, and I thought that I had given myself enough time to get to the airport from Christin's place. Well, I would have, if the E train had not been taken out of service for track repairs. All was not lost: the attendant offered to let me sit standby on the next flight for free. That is, until she learned that the next flight was overbooked, so there was no chance of me making it on. Pretty much everything that could have...

Also, to prove that I can, in fact, talk about something other than Titan, here is an amazing video from the people at The Onion. I feel like they're talking about consumers just like me. Idiopathies: La Muerte
http://idiopathies.blogspot.com/2012/03/la-muerte.html
I rarely get sick, so when I do, my body doesn't know how to deal with it. I'm glad to say that I felt fine during my kayak and horseback riding trips yesterday, but as soon as I got back to San Lucas, I knew that something was wrong. I ended up calling it an early night and going to bed by 9pm. What if I feel like this tomorrow? I thought to myself. "There's no way I can travel feeling like this. Will I be forced to stay in Guatemala until I recover? How would I pay for healthcare in a foreign country?

Idiopathies: To My Grandma
http://idiopathies.blogspot.com/2010/10/new-beginning.html
After a long and difficult week, my grandma passed away this morning. Everything I have learned on the wards tells me that this was the best thing for her, but that doesn't make letting her go any less difficult. I want to share this letter to her with anyone who might be reading this, because everyone needs to know what a wonderful woman she was. Dear Niang Niang,. How did you meet Dia Dia? Did you always want to be a mother of six, or did you have other dreams in life? Until we meet again,. Sam, So sor...

Idiopathies: Feed Me
http://idiopathies.blogspot.com/2010/07/feed-me.html
I would do anything for fudz. So imagine how excited I was to be fed breakfast, lunch, and. What did I do to deserve this cornucopia of nomz! Okay, this one's kind of cheating, but I had a granola bar that I had "purchased" using Roanoke Bucks during my Psychiatry rotation. Alright, tomorrow, you've got a lot of living up to do. Let's see what you're made of! Thursday, July 29, 2010. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). My name is Sam. Noted in HIPAA regulations. I Can Has Cheezburger. A line of blue.

Idiopathies: Cleaning Catharsis
http://idiopathies.blogspot.com/2010/07/cleaning-catharsis.html
Boy, do I love to clean. You can really tell when I get stressed, because the closer I get to exams, the neater my room becomes. Pete and Andrew have both moved out of the house, and since the four of us who remain all happened to be home tonight, we decided to clean out the living room, the kitchen, and the refrigerator. They are all so much cleaner now than they were four hours ago! That's over a year before I moved into this house! Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Noted in H...
