Travels, eats, and shoots. One of my goals is to travel the world, experience new cultures, indulge in different cuisines and capture memories. I am a lover of coffee and tea, a sucker for video games, a fan of fast wheels and a pushover for fantasy movies. I enjoy the company of family and friends and moments of solitude. Travels, eats, and shoots. Monthly Archives: April 2011. Nutschell’s birthday dinner! We drove to Gardena last night to celebrate our friend Nutschell’s birthday at a quaint Japanese restaurant called Sanuki no Sato. We got to sit in the tatami room where we had to take our shoes off. The menu was so enticing, we had trouble figuring out what to eat! Japanese braised pork belly. Mo went for the Karubi: Korean style BBQ short ribs and JP had 2 helpings of Edamame. 🙂 We love ya! After the morning course, ...

Travels, eats, and shoots. Nutschell’s birthday dinner! Naga City, Philippines: March 2011: Home-cooked! When my boyfriend, JP and I arrived in Manila on the morning of March 18th, we were expecting a scorching hot and dry weather. But much to my surprise, we were greeted with a nice decent breeze. Arriving in Naga City, we were welcomed with a little drizzle as we wait for my Dad to pick us up at the airport. So prepare you’re stomachs coz there will be a lot of food shots coming! Day 1, Lunch:. JP got ...

Travels, eats, and shoots. Monthly Archives: March 2011. New Orleans, LA – APTA CSM Feb 9-12, 2011 Part 1. It was a very busy and tiring but highly enlightening and inspiring week in New Orleans. It’s my first time attending the American Physical Therapy Association Combined Sections Meeting and it was a blast. I’ll try to recall details of the week as everything went by fairly quickly. It is a unique strip mall along the Mississippi River with quaint shops and variety of fast food chains. I needed t...

Thursday, August 15, 2013. Something hasn't been setting well with me. At no other time in my life have I ever heard the same phrase so consistently nor so frequently and I have to be honest, it's gotten under my skin. Someone: "You have how many? Me: "I have three little girls.". Someone: (looking downward at my growing belly) "So this is your 4th? Me: "Yep, that's right.". Someone: "So this must be a boy.". Me: "Yep, sure is! Someone: "Wow.you're very brave.". Always followed by.). Friday, May 10, 2013.

Tuesday, December 1, 2009. At work and at play. During the week, Sepal travels up to Tianmu, Taipei, Taiwan, to teach English. When he doesn't have to teach, Tianmu has some very nice parks he likes to frequent. The park Sepal went to today is near a Sogo. If you look closely, you can see the Sogo behind the fountain. The other fountain in the park. Sepal was afraid he might fall into this one. This time as a foreign student. In Taiwan at JinWen University. Traveling to JinWen University on the bus.

Travels, eats and shoots. St Louis, Missouri: Part 3, October 2014. December 22, 2014 / lilsheepish. So for part 3, I came back to St. Louis for the advanced course in Movement System Impairments of the Upper Quarter at Washington University. I coordinated the trip with the two lovely ladies I met in January (Joan and Sarah) and we stayed at the Courtyard Marriott St. Louis Downtown. Which I was very satisfied with so I used them again on this trip. For the first two nights, we went on a BBQ binge! Locat...
