The twinkle in my eye. The central subject of this blog is the twinkle. as in “i remember when you were just a twinkle in your mother’s eye.”. You can see endless photos of her here. When we did get around to changing our birth certificate it was lots of fun to do it with the pea green boat girls and the baybeasts and the pbx crew. Later that day the “daily hyphen” newspaper called me because of my volunteer work for a comment on the implementation of the legislation. i mentioned that we had changed the birth certificate and suddenly we became the news in the paper. And subsequently (and weirdly) on the radio.

It’s been such a busy couple of months over christmas and new year and holidays and midsumma. finally, we have a weekend with no plans. naaaaaaace. Saturday, February 28, 2009. Well the past couple of months have passed by in the blink of an eye. We spent most of January in the pool at Emerald Lake and the rest of the time shopping for the perfect lunch box. January 30th was THE BIG DAY! Yes Andrew is a school boy and loving it! Andrew's favourite thing at school is Icy Pole Day. He also loves the computer lab and now wants to be a SECRET SPY when he grows up. Ali Pops has started kinder. Finally it is her.
