Tuesday, October 27, 2009. Many people sit indoors over the winter with seed catalogues in their lap dreaming of how the garden may look in the spring. That is kinda what we do when we plan our next summer at the cabin. Except this year I think we will get the opportunity to spend a week or two up there around New Years. So I have already begun my day-dreaming of what can be done even if it is the dead of winter. It is time for a new coat of Sikkens Cetol 23. At least on the south and west sides.

Friday, September 19, 2008. It is kinda wierd having two homes. It is to the point where we can walk into either place and fall into a routine like we never left. When we can back to Texas this time, it was more of an adjustment than usual as the the little fild mice had moved in and nibbled on sme strange items. My View On Sports From The Worst Seat In The House. Monday, January 09, 2012. When trying to predict NFL playoff games, go with the home team. There, lesson learned. Last week I tried to out smart myself, analyzing all the data, figuring out who had the "best" offense, defense, QB, etc, when all I should have done is look to see who was the home team. All 4 home teams won this past weekend and, unfortunately for me, I picked 3 road teams to win. Will the visiting team win sometime? Hope that was helpful.
