Melissa McIntosh Photo Blog. Wednesday, May 26, 2010. These were taken earlier this month at my aunt and uncle's house in Black Canyon City. This is my Aunt Nancy, my late Grandmother Julie's sister. I was tearing up behind the camera thinking about my Grandma and how she didn't get to meet my daughters. She passed away when I was 4 months pregnant with Lulu. Oh how she would have loved them! I didn't win but the photo did get a "like" mention and $100 off, so that was pretty cool. I recognized my friend Sarah's. Photo and she received a like mention too. So double win! This photo pretty much sums up what we've been up to around here. Spending lots of time outside playing while we can until the weather turns super hot here in the desert.

I am often asked why I am vegetarian.how long I have been a vegetarian.do I really think that it is healthy to be a vegetarian.don't you miss eating meat? Mahatma Gandhi said "To my mind, the life of a lamb is no less precious than that of a human being. I should be unwilling to take the life of a lamb for the sake of the human body.".
