Navigating Labrynths: December 2013
http://reinastoy.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 5, 2013. I'm sorry this isn't terribly upbeat or chatty this time, but I am working to get there. I know this is hormones, and weather, and stress all talking, and I also know it will pass. As some of the stress lifts (the end of the term) things will ease and I will be more cheerful. I just needed to vent a bit. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Never a Dull Moment. Saturday Summary for March 18. Brene's Books: Do I have to read them in order? Navigating Labrynths: July 2016
http://reinastoy.blogspot.com/2016_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 30, 2016. Three more days to go. Although I actually go back to work Monday and Eric will have child duty until their mother gets here. Eric very graciously played chauffeur and nursemaid on Thursday so I could do the yarn crawl with children in tow. The previous part of the day was nice though, with lunch near the Missouri River in Washington Missouri, and Ted Drews at Knitorious. Skye played with a neighbor's chameleon and was fascinated by it. I have decided I was amazing with all I got...

Navigating Labrynths: February 2015
http://reinastoy.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 1, 2015. This is the wheel I have my heart set on. Hopefully it will be mine sometime this year. And I did buy a new lace drop spindle because it was pretty, and some fiber to spin up because I liked the colors. I still have not mailed out Christmas gifts, despite their being done. Not home when the post office is open. So kids will get gifts in February I guess. I am hoping Eric can mail them Monday before he heads to bed. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Navigating Labrynths: September 2016
http://reinastoy.blogspot.com/2016_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 22, 2016. A picture from Lake Superior at sunset. Zack knows how much I love that lake and sends me pictures he takes from around it. Water is my happy place, and sometimes just looking at a photo helps to center me. So an unexpected week off! I finished a few chores, and have sat out in the yard. Not a bad way to spend the week over all! And other than some pressure and soreness, I didn't otherwise feel too bad, despite the bruises and scrapes! Links to this post. On a happier note, ...

Navigating Labrynths: August 2016
http://reinastoy.blogspot.com/2016_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 28, 2016. I am on call this weekend, and surprisingly, it's been decent. No calls til after 1 yesterday, and then a second call assigned at the end of the day. So far nothing today. I'm not holding my breath, but am enjoying getting a few things done while I wait. We had crazy weather around us all week. On Friday I ran to pick up subway and captured this photo of a storm going around us:. Links to this post. Wednesday, August 24, 2016. Follow my blog with Bloglovin. Links to this post.

Navigating Labrynths: January 2017
http://reinastoy.blogspot.com/2017_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 1, 2017. Much has happened since I last wrote here, and things have been crazy busy. Getting ready for the holidays, teaching Signs of Safety in southeastern Missouri, the ice storm, the holidays. Let's start with a few pictures:. Miss Skye broke her wrist falling off the monkey bars at school. She needed to be put under to get it set. She had a nice big cast for a number of weeks, then was switched to a shorter cast. She is now cast free and all healed up. Skye made us a Christmas card.

Navigating Labrynths: September 2014
http://reinastoy.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 20, 2014. Its been two weeks, time for an update. Things are going fine here. I have started getting my own cases, and I am finding the work challenging in a good way, and rewarding, however I am also getting fairly simple cases to break me in easily. I have a good supervisor whose goal is to not burn me out; from what another worker has said, not all supervisors are as respectful. This is an example of what I find unexpectedly :). Eric had a weeks vacation a week ago and spent some o...

Navigating Labrynths: October!
http://reinastoy.blogspot.com/2016/10/october.html
Sunday, October 9, 2016. This is what things look like when grandma babysits after working all day: we eat McDonald's picnic style on the living room floor, while watching Disney junior on television, then cuddle in the rocking chair. Brie and her husband went to the baseball game and they dropped the girls with me at work. We went and said hi to "Officer Papa" at his work, then came home. It was a fun evening! Eric and fire go together almost compulsively! I made significant progress reorganizing my sew...
