The Baumann Family: Royal Wedding Party
http://thebaumannsblog.blogspot.com/2011/06/royal-wedding-party.html
Tuesday, June 21, 2011. In April this year, a big news event was the wedding of William and Kate. Zoe received an invitation to her friends Lindsay and Chelsea's "Royal Wedding Party" to watch the ceremony. The girls were to come dressed in fancy attire, and I knew that a hat would have to be made after seeing all the hats the ladies in England were wearing in the news to the wedding. After I pinned the hat to her hair, she ran upstairs to apply the lipstick and mole herself. Posted by The Baumanns.

The Baumann Family: July 2010
http://thebaumannsblog.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 23, 2010. Zoe and her friend Sofia decided to have a double birthday party this year, since their birthdays are only one week apart. A double party seemed perfect, as this was their double digit birthday.the big. Sofia's mom Sandra is someone I have always loved and admired, but loved and admired even more after planning this party together. We had so much fun! It was a campout sleepover party, and Sandra was gracious enough to host it in her backyard. Jack had to let everyone style his hair.

Friday, August 27, 2010. One of my favorite things about summer are the outdoor concerts at Red Butte Garden. There is just nothing better than being in the mountains with friends, food, wine and great music. Brandi Carlile was our first concert of the summer. Her voice was beautiful was always.love her. Rafael, Robbie, and Josh. Me doing what I do best. Me reading the ingredients on the box of almond cookies as Chris is allergic to nuts. Strangely enough, the almond nut cookies did indeed contain nuts.

The Baumann Family: January 2011
http://thebaumannsblog.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 16, 2011. I know I know.I'm so behind on my blogs. It's just that as soon as December 26th rolls around the last thing I feel like doing is looking at pictures of anything related to Christmas. It's kind of like giving birth and the next day having to tell everyone what a beautiful experience it was when all you can think of is blood and guts and a watermelon coming out of your vagina. First things first.the requisite photos with Santa. Zoe wanted to bring Teddy, and Santa really liked him.

The Baumann Family: March 2011

Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Zoe recently starred as Shirley Temple in her 5th grade "Great Americans" performance. I know I'm her mom and all, but is she cute or what? The show was about many of the great Americans throughout history. This is Zoe singing with Ben Franklin, Judy Garland, and Rosa Parks. My mom made Zoe's dress and I curled her hair with a skinny little curling iron. It took me forever. Shirley's mom must have had a lot of patience. Does she have a solo? Chloe was Juliette Gordon Low, the fou...

The Baumann Family: May 2010
http://thebaumannsblog.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 28, 2010. My Aunt Sue came for a visit this month. She has lost around 100 lbs of weight completely on her own,. Zoe and I had a lot of fun shopping with Sue for new clothes for her "new look". To reward Zoe for being a trooper spending the day looking at old lady clothes, we took her to her dream store where she had been begging to go. She had been dying to go to this bridal shop to look at wedding dresses and formal gowns. Afterwards we treated ourselves to a Mini's cupcake. For Zack's 8th ...

Tuesday, May 10, 2011. For Spring Break our family went to Curaçao! It's a small island in the southern Carribean Sea, one of the former Netherlands Antilles, just off the coast of Venezuela. The lobby of our hotel. The balcony of our hotel room. The kids were very into posing for the camera. Zoe at the floating fruit market. The kids saw this wall as we were walking down the street and had to spontaneously Vogue. Back at the hotel, we spent quite a lot of time at this particular pool bar. A Story by Zack.

Monday, April 26, 2010. When I went to pick Zoe up from school the other day, she wanted to go home with a friend and wanted me to take her bike home for her. Being the mastermind she is, she told me the combination she had set for the lock was 1-2-3-4 (because who could possibly ever crack that. I mean come on.is this the face of a hardened criminal or what? Me in the getaway car with the engine running just in case the fuzz came and I had to hightail it out of there. Like a bumbling idiot. While taking...

The Baumann Family: A chick on the slopes
http://thebaumannsblog.blogspot.com/2011/06/chick-on-slopes.html
Sunday, June 26, 2011. A chick on the slopes. On closing day the past few years Alta Ski Resort has seen a Baumann as a skiing gnome, a skiing Elvis, and this year.a skiing chicken. This fat feathered friend would be my Zoe. She ran into another fellow chicken on the slopes. We grilled with The Pereiras in the snow. This little tiger is Quinn. This was actually back on May 1st.I'm SO behind in my blogging! Posted by The Baumanns. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A chick on the slopes. A Story by Zack.

The Baumann Family: Moab 2011
http://thebaumannsblog.blogspot.com/2011/06/moab-2011.html
Sunday, June 5, 2011. The day we arrived from the airport after flying all the way from Curaçao (a 3 hour flight to Dallas the night before, then two 3 hour legs in the morning to Salt Lake), we were home for only an hour to exchange our suitcases full of bathing suits for suitcases full of camping gear. We then headed for the highway to start our 4 hour drive all the way to Moab in Southern Utah. There was a really pretty sunset when we arrived at our campsite in Arches National Park. A Story by Zack.
