Tuesday, June 17, 2014. He is 6 Today. Happy birthday to our sweet Grandson. Six years ago today the Lord blessed us with our first (and only) Grandson. Monday, June 9, 2014. Summer time is a time for enjoying those you love and those who love you. I am blessed to be able to be with my Grands almost every day. They live next door to us, and they love to come to see Nana and Granddaddy any chance that they get. We love having them with us. Grandson is 5 years old and is taking swimming lessons this summer.

Thursday, February 27, 2014. Treasure from Inside a Backpack. Little things aren't 'little' when they touch one's heart so deeply. I picked Grandson (Garrett) and Granddaughter (Lauren) up after school on Wednesday of this week. Garrett trudged into their kitchen with his little book bag on his back. He took it off and put it on the kitchen table; his Mom began unpacking it, as Garrett, Lauren, and I were settling in. having an after-school snack. Wednesday, September 29, 2010. Race for the Cure. This past Saturday we headed out EARLY to do the Race for the Cure. I was really looking forward to it, we hadn't participated since I lived in Charlotte. We had a great time, Mackenzie hung out in the stroller and at the end she held my hand and we ran to the finish line together.
