Thursday, August 15, 2013. A Return and A Review. I can't believe it's been a year since I've last posted! A post of all the happenings in between will come later. But mostly it's been this: I changed my name to Heather Storey because I met a really awesome kid and we want to hang out together all the time for the rest of our lives! For my triumphant to blogging, I've chosen a really spectacular album to be released on Tuesday and my review to go with it. In a world where so much music produced talks onl...

http://www.thewibbler.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html

Wednesday, May 18, 2011. What to do when you don't know what to do. I have a book sitting next to my bed called "Plan B" . it's about what to do when "Plan A" doesn't work out. Every day I have a new plan for my life. The one magazine I subscribe to just ran an article about 11 things you should know/do around your 25th ish year of life. Do I get a doctorate? Do I become a writer? Do I stick with performing? Do I try to find a new job? Do I keep taking auditions? Will I ever get married? And here's what ...

Even though Cleveland can't seem to make up its mind, I truly believe summer is on its way. Sunshine can only be denied for so long before eventually winning the war against the oppressive unicloud. Saturday, December 18, 2010. This weekend is the bi-annual (that means every two years, right? I was telling my Aunt Marshmallow this (I used to call her Aunt Marshmallow, to help me distinguish between Aunt Chocolate . I'll tell that story another time). And this is what my Aunt Marshmallow who is now retired so wisely said:. Guilt is overrated.". Not kidding. I love it! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Duck Duck. Duck. Duck. Sunday, January 30, 2011. Tuesday, January 18, 2011. My Love's Too Big For You. I have a confession to make: after sunset, I turn into a pumpkin. All my thinking generally becomes dark, maybe a little twisted and pretty morose. Most of the thoughts to follow surfaced after the sunset tonight. Also, I spent several hours in a car by myself today. Like 8 hours. I still loved it all, but . it might explain some things. A friend of mine asked me over the summer how he could be a better friend. I could just s...

Sunday, October 16, 2011. Got a Smile in my Heart and it Spread to my Face. This week’s spotlight band has been on my radar for a long time, actually; but only recently did I break down, purchase their album and fall in love. I can’t tell you exactly when I first heard of Vampire Weekend. And if asked, I would give them a good deal of the credit for my successful crossing of the finish line. I’m listening to their second album Contra. Not looking forward to a weekend of cleaning the house? Awesome Inc&#4...

seeing things i've seen: October 2009

http://seeingthingsiveseen.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html

Seeing things i've seen. Who knows what might end up here. Sunday, October 4, 2009. Crush on the world. As a Christian now, my entire world is shaped by the reality of the person of Jesus and the unequivocal authority of Scripture. And although my whole world changed, and I do mean my whole world, one thing has remained the same. I’m still not convinced the world has much to offer. The Psalmist writes it most eloquently, “Who have I in heaven but you? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

seeing things i've seen: to be a bird

http://seeingthingsiveseen.blogspot.com/2011/08/to-be-bird.html

Seeing things i've seen. Who knows what might end up here. Tuesday, August 30, 2011. To be a bird. I know birds are so trendy right now, feather extensions, bird cages in the living room, chicken for dinner (haha), but my gram has always been big into birds. and over the past few years i've begun to see the beauty. Lately i've been wishing i was a bird. there are many perks. Sweet birds can flit from tree to tree, enjoying the sunshine and blue skies. Birds are usually beautiful and graceful. To be a bird.

Seeing things i've seen. Who knows what might end up here. Friday, June 10, 2011. It's funny to think about getting settled at home when you are on vacation in California and a mere week away from 6 weeks in Colorado, but getting settled is what's on my mind. I've lived in my current home since August, yep 10 months and I have still not hung shelves and have a couple boxes yet to be unpacked. How is that possible? Or worse what if I unpack and settle in and my life is still the same? Hanging shelves, han...

http://seeingthingsiveseen.blogspot.com/2011/08/not-that-good-at-this.html

Seeing things i've seen. Who knows what might end up here. Monday, August 29, 2011. Not that good at this. Apparently i'm not that good at keeping a blog. I wish that i was better at it. but i don't ever really know what to say. The stuff that i think of to write is often super deep or its crazy shallow. so i don't know how to do it. but i'm trying. this is my attempt. This week marks seven years since my mom passed away. Its strange to think that my mom will have never known the man that i will marry.

The Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey Stuff

The Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey Stuff. Se que nadie entenderá mis referencias, pero todo tiene una razón, y les aseguro que tiene sentido xd. Martes, 14 de julio de 2015. Several times I been asked where I’d like to travel, It is a very difficult question, because one of my dreams is to travel the world to know other cultures and talk with other people and eat their food and walk in their streets and live (in my own way) their reality. So I often wonder: Where I want to go the most? Going to Japan is one o...
