The lives of Jason, Seana, and Kacie Wichert. Sunday, September 30, 2012. This weekend I decided to try painting with Kacie. I put on her big bib and we went to town. I couldn't decide where to do it, so I put the paper on the kitchen table. She had to stand up to reach it. The bib kept getting in the way, so we decided to go topless. Then she wanted to sit down. It turned out great, so we will definitely try this again! This weekend it rained and Kacie started saying "it's raining" when we were driving!

The lives of Jason, Seana, and Kacie Wichert. Wednesday, March 27, 2013. The Rest of Grandma Sharon's Visit. Grandma Sharon stayed until the Wednesday after Kacie's birthday. She also kept her at home while Jason and I were at work. They had a blast together. Some of these pictures are from their days together. Playing with her new Minnies and her swing (in the rainbow socks that she picked out! She put some random stuff in her "purse" and walked around with it all day. Playing soccer in the backyard.

Saturday, October 22, 2011. A brand new day. Between fevers, coughs, stomach bugs, and teething, Jakey has been a complete mess the past month. This downturn was exacerbated by a string of stressful family events, the combination of which has produced more sleepless nights than I can count. Although we've experienced brief moments of happiness, parenting has mostly been an exercise in just getting through. Notice the bottom tooth, food is so much better when you can chew it!
