Friday, August 22, 2014. Preschool and DayCare 2014. So after saying goodbye to Ya-Ya on Monday, I packed lunches and backpacks in preparation for Hadley's first day (ever) of daycare and Preston's first day of preschool-3. This is the first time that both will be in school/day care full time. I was so nervous about Tuesday, but there were no tears from any of us at drop off. Hadley seriously didn't even seem to care. I though my plate might be a little too full already. Then I remembered that earlie...

Simply Stated: 1 Month Old
http://cjbrownlee.blogspot.com/2012/09/1-month-old.html
The best thing about the future is that it only comes one day at a time." Abraham Lincoln. Sunday, September 16, 2012. You weighed 8.12 lbs. (1%) and were 20.25 inches at your one month appointment. Still a little tyke, but your newborn clothes were finally starting to fit! We used the word vigorous to describe you as you were constantly moving all around, kicking your feet, fighting the swaddle blanket, and all over the place! We continue to be in awe of your cuteness and love having you home with us.

Wednesday, September 28, 2011. Quinoa with Mushrooms and Broccoli. In my efforts to incorporate healthier meals into our weekly meals I am working hard to find healthy substitutions for some of our favorite dishes. Over the last several years Robert and I have become big fans of risotto, but the complex carbs in the rice, and amount of cheese make it less than ideal when it comes to trying to eat great and lose weight. Quinoa with Mushrooms and Broccoli. 1 cup rinsed quinoa. 2 cups salted water. Bring th...

Thursday, June 28, 2012. Steak, Mushroom, and Asparagus Pasta with Gorgonzola Cream Sauce. Robert and I have been using our Big Green Egg Smoker Grill practically every night since we moved in to our new apartment. When we end up with leftovers, I like to get creative with the reheating so as to avoid getting bored. My most recent attempts was using some leftover steak fillets to make this delicious pasta. Steak, Mushroom, and Asparagus Pasta with Gorgonzola Cream Sauce. 8 ounces cremini mushrooms, sliced.
