Want me to review your wine? Patton Valley “Drink Pink” 2015! July 22, 2015. Its as though this event was made for me. Now in its fourth year, Drink Pink sold out at 300 people. I probably would have guessed there to be 120 people there, because it never felt crowded (. I really can’t think of a better way to spend an afternoon than at Patton Valley. Take a gander at those babies. 1) as a wine (duh). 2) the “porch pounder”. There’s plenty of room for both in my world. David Hill Rosé of Pinot Noir, 2014.

Thirty Oregon Wines in Thirty Days, Day 19! Oink. | the wine snob.

http://thewinesnob.net/2015/01/20/thirty-oregon-wines-in-thirty-days-day-19-oink

Thirty Oregon Wines in Thirty Days, Day 19! January 20, 2015. This is such a fun and brilliant little wine- the. EIEIO Swine Wine “Rie-Chard”, 2013 Willamette Valley. I actually had this bottle several weeks ago, when I had the good fortune to be introduced to Jay McDonald, winemaker and owner of EIEIO wines (Jay McDonald had a farm, EIEIO! I absolutely loved it the minute I saw it. I do have a fondness for pigs, so I was a little predisposed. Dead center in the bustling little metropolis of Carlton.

Oregon Wine Month: EIEIO & Co! May 13, 2015. May 13, 2015. Its almost halfway through May, and I have a lot more wine to write about this month. Today I bring you a few that are near and dear to my heart. I first wrote about EIEIO. A few months ago, and I heard from a few people that were equally as in love with the little “piglets” as I was. Loiregon Dinner at SE Wine Collective. July 3, 2015. Yes, yes, its been a hot second since I last posted. Let me tell you a one word answer for why this is:. Like a child who just got out of school, I have been suffering (although it really doesn’t feel like suffering) from extreme lack of desire to focus or even be inside. Summers in South Carolina were so hot, long and brutal that I confess to never really enjoying them. But this? I just. don’t. wanna. First a little background on the Loiregon Dinner, ...

AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY FUELED BY ROTTEN GRAPES. Wine, Beverage, Food. Raise the Minimum Wage and Lift up America. July 23, 2015. July 24, 2015. Because I know you really want to read my opinion on the potential minimum wage increase to $15 in Oregon…. Yesterday on the radio, a business owner stated that although it will be hard on him to pay the anticipated increased minimum wage (see: Oregon may raise minimum wage to $15 per hour),.
