Monday, June 25, 2012. You can't help but smile when you start your day like this! He found the pirate eye patch and was so proud of himself for putting it on without help. He ran in and said, "Arrrrggghh, Piwate! And he was pretty excited about having pockets, so he kept his hands in them most of the morning. Some other cute things that he's saying lately: Bike-i-cycle instead of bicycle, "I KNOW! Follow me), Coming! They sang Farmer in the Dell at Ronda's one day and now he's obsessed! The Mordorski Miracle: July 2012
http://themordorskis.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Such a small world! We had a very fun day. We started out with some pancakes, which we don't ever get to do on weekdays, then we headed for the museum. Owen likes "George a Monkey," and he was very excited to see a "big one.". Right as we walked in, there were hula hoops and I couldn't tear him away from them! My little monkey with his favorite monkey. Ironically enough, the monkey was the only one that would sit still long enough for a picture! He said, "Hello? But then the ship ...

Monday, October 22, 2012. Our new daycare provider, Heidi, has a website where she posts newsletters and calendars for us, but also photos that she takes of the kids while they are doing projects and playing. Here are some photos of the fun things they did in September and early October. Playing in the jump tent with Lily and Kendall. Washing the toy dishes from their kitchen. Riding on a "trike bike". Each month, they work on a color. October is orange month, so they made orange. View my complete profile.

http://themordorskis.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 30, 2012. You probably have noticed that most of my posts lately have been about me and Owen. Paul has been busy working on our deck, so I thought I'd show some photos of the progress! We have a long way to go, but we've come a long way. Today as Paul was working, Owen yelled out, "Good Job Daddy! The "guts" of the roof. Can lights installed and the guts of the fan installed. Little man making sure Daddy was working hard! The shingles are on! A view of the deck from inside the house.

The Mordorski Miracle: April 2012
http://themordorskis.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 29, 2012. Walk for Babies 2012. We've decided to make it a tradition to do the March of Dimes Walk for Babies each year. It is for such a good cause. March of Dimes does research to help prevent babies from being born prematurely and to help those who are born too early to survive. We are so grateful for the advances in medicine over the years that helped the Neonatologists to care for Owen and send him home with us. Elmo even Marched for Babies! Wednesday, April 18, 2012. It was so much fu...

Saturday, November 26, 2011. Bobby and Nesha gave Owen a game called Elefun for Christmas. When we got home from dinner tonight, we set it up and he had SO much fun collecting butterflies in his net. Christmas with the Withers'. We finished off the evening with dinner at Macaroni Grill. And down he goes. Getting a ride from Daddy.

Mordorski's Miracles & Moments: Loving someone whose Heart is Perfectly Imperfect
http://themordorskifamily.blogspot.com/2015/04/loving-someone-whose-heart-is-perfectly.html
Mordorskis Miracles and Moments. Wednesday, April 22, 2015. Loving someone whose Heart is Perfectly Imperfect. Most days, it is pretty easy to be in denial about Hattie's heart defect. She is happy and healthy, she is growing well and her oxygen levels look good. As it gets closer to the fall, we celebrate that she will reach her first birthday, but we dread that we'll be handing over our baby to a team of surgeons for her open heart surgery. We truly believe that God is in control and. Most days I can p...

Mordorski's Miracles & Moments: Happy Easter
http://themordorskifamily.blogspot.com/2015/04/happy-easter.html
Mordorskis Miracles and Moments. Tuesday, April 14, 2015. I'm a little late in posting this, but better late than never, right? We had a wonderful Easter. We started our celebration on Friday, dying our Easter eggs. We spent Saturday at my friend Lisa's house enjoying an egg hunt and party. The kids had a great time. Hattie entertained everyone with her smiles and Owen was shy at first, but by the end of the day, he was playing with the "big" kids. They turned out pretty well! Owen's partner, Madison.
