The Witting Twins

In the first few weeks of April, the weather had started to finally warm up, spring had sprung and we were able to get outside more often! The boys also took a trip to NJ with Tim so they could drop Barkley off to stay with Tim's dad while we were in California. I am just going to post my favorite pics from the first part of April and then will do a separate post with our California trip. SO happy to be outside! A blue sidewalk chalk self-portrait by Tanner. I know I still have all summer and the start of the school year to blog about (I'm hoping to do that soon), but, I just had this conversation with Dylan about his school fundraiser at McDonalds tomorrow night. Families are welcome to come to the McDonalds near their school and 20% of the proceeds benefit their preschool. Me: Dylan, are we going to McDonalds tomorrow night? Me: who's going to be there? Dylan: Ms. Jen and Ms. Krista (their teachers). Me: What about Mommy and Daddy? We're going to go too.

Very 1st day of Preschool. On September 3rd, Tanner and Dylan started preschool. They were very excited to actually attend school by themselves, rather than visit with mommy and daddy being there with them the whole time (like at orientation). Ms. Jen and Ms. Krista (their teachers) had warned us that they were prepared for tears, and that things go smoother if the parents quickly say goodbye and then leave the children behind. I was having trouble getting the ultrasound photos to load and those are half the post! We had our 20 week ultrasound for little peanut on Monday morning and found out we're having a girl! The ultrasound technician said there was no doubt in what she saw and there were definitely "girl parts" out and visible! We are so happy and excited! A Trio of Girls.

Relishing Every Moment with Our Little Girl! Sunday, October 31, 2010. As we all know, Maddie is an early to bed, early to rise little girl. So staying up for Halloween is tricky because it gets dark past her bedtime. Add to that the fact that Maddie woke up this morning at 4:30am instead of 6am - and did not fall back asleep - and keeping her awake for the festivities was a very long shot! She missed going door-to-door, but she had a ton of fun in her giraffe costume! And she looked so darn cute too!

Relishing Every Moment with Our Little Girl! Sunday, November 15, 2009. Our little girl is not so little anymore! Yesterday she crawled for the first time! She's been working up to it for the past couple weeks and yesterday she took three "steps" to crawl across the playmat and grab Cali (her octopus stuffed animal toy). It was so amazing to see! Now the baby proofing really needs to begin! Once she realizes she can do that repeatedly, there will be no stopping her! Love you all,. It was too funny!
