Late summer morning | The Wolery
https://thewolery.wordpress.com/2007/02/14/late-summer-morning
A photojournal of life in rural Australia. February 14, 2007. Summer is drawing to a close, and overnight was a little cooler than it’s been lately. This morning a light misty rain dressed the scenery – and the many spiders’ webs – with delicate droplets. The grass seed heads with a sheen of moisture – I liked the contrasts of creams, browns and greens in this mix of grasses. February 14, 2007. Morning light →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. A photojournal of life in rural Australia. Last year, a pair of swallows built a nest in our carport and raised a family. This year, they came back, and raised five chicks, four of them visible here. This was taken only a day or so before the young swallows started to fly. Despite the hassles of having swallow-poop on my car, I…. December 3, 2006. Lizard conversation | The Wolery
https://thewolery.wordpress.com/2007/02/06/lizard-conversation
A photojournal of life in rural Australia. February 6, 2007. When I was coming home last night, I had to stop the car because this lizard was right in the middle of the driveway, and I didn’t want to run it over. I got out of the car to shoosh it away, but it took sometime to convince it to move. At one stage I got the head-tilted-to-the-side ‘what are you on about? This is the same kind of lizard (perhaps even the same lizard) that I posted in the previous post. February 6, 2007. Enter your comment here.

A photojournal of life in rural Australia. January 31, 2007. This isn’t a great picture – the light behind made it a challenge for my middling photographic skills, and it was early morning – but just imagine emerging blurry-eyed in the morning to the cheerful burst of colour against the bush backdrop:-). Lizard | The Wolery
https://thewolery.wordpress.com/2007/02/05/lizard
A photojournal of life in rural Australia. February 5, 2007. This lizard, lying very still, is well-camoflaged amongst the dry leaves of the bush floor. I had the dogs with me, and they were sniffing just a few feet away – fortunately, I was the only one of us who saw it. February 5, 2007. Lizard conversation →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Bronwyn Parry: January 2007
http://bronwynparry.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
On writing romantic fiction. Saturday, January 20, 2007. Farewell - for a while. After a lot of thought, I've decided to take a break from this blog for a while. Given that I'm not published (yet), and my writing progress doesn't make for scintillating reading, and the above-mentioned reasons for not commenting loudly on genre issues - well, that doesn't give me a whole lot to write about, on a writing blog. In the meantime, if you want to see the scenery and wildlife around here, there's my photoblog.

A photojournal of life in rural Australia. Just outside the building I work in is a tree with seeds that King Parrots obviously consider gourmet food.
