Increase Retweets With Micropoetry. A Little Fear Is Necessary. The Mocking Of Birds. Increase Retweets With Micropoetry. Short poetry has not been my usual style. I have nothing against creating just a few lines of poetry, it’s just whenever I write a short piece, I start thinking…just a couple more lines. Before I know it, my very short poem has become…long. I’ll confess I’m not a great fan of haiku. In March 2014 I finally opened a Twitter page and quickly discovered other tweeters posting micropoetry.

Ms. Rasley studied Edgar Allen Poe’s POV for her thesis and talks about him in the book’s opening. She asks the question, “How did he make a narrator’s voice sound both rational and insane?
