Friday, 19 November 2010. Alum pot grade 3 with a length of 522m and a depth of 104m with a dive to 129m. The first direct decent was back in 1870 by Boyd Dawkins and party, the system was extended in 1978 and again in 1990 by CDG (Cave Diving Group). Before you go onto the land for this pot, payment of £1 per person must be paid at Selside Farm just below the parking area on the opposit side of the road. For this reason the use of tubbing continued until a depth of 122 metres was reached.
