A Different Journey to Parenthood. Thursday, October 8, 2015. The Results are in. So my most recent round of ivf is now behind me. 9 eggs, 5 embryos and 4 that went off for PGD testing which included the one embryo I had from the previous round. It was a long three week wait where I braced for bad news. But it wasn't all bad. I have one normal embryo in there. Good one that's ready to hatch! It also came from the most recent round of ivf which is nice to know. At least that wasn't all for nothing.

A Different Journey to Parenthood. Thursday, June 16, 2016. 30 weeks aka 7.5 months. Here I am, closing in on the finish line. A maximum of 9 more weeks to go and then my little will finally arrive! He's still running big, in the 82nd percentile at last measurement and now I can feel exactly where his head is by feeling my belly. If I rub his legs and he happens to be awake I can usually encourage some movement out of him. Amazing! In renovation news I can say the house is done! July 24, 2016 at 5:20 AM.

I have whiled away the past 3 months waiting for my body to recover from the ivf drugs and preparing myself for my FET.
