The most significant is the Yearly Temple Festival which commences exactly eight days before the Thiruvathira Nakshathtra Varam in the Kumbha masa. Navakapanchgavyabhisheka in 12 days and Kalabhabhishekamm on the 13th day are conducted during the Mandala.

There are Abhisheka and Malar Nivedyam daily conducted in the wee hours. Usha Pooja , which is conducted at early dawn. Pooja with Sreerudhradhara and Otta brhama Kalasabhishekam at high noon. Deeparadhana at dusk and Athazha pooja. Pradosha Pooja is conducted monthly twice. The Oorala families and Devaswam and the temple staff take care of the expenses of the twelve-day poojas in turn. The expenses of kalbhabhishekam have been taken care of by the Welfare Society since 1982.
