Stories of art inspiration and tea! On Wednesday I went to a local theatre to see a performance of Ovids Metamorphoses, both men bought the stories to life and has the small and intimate audience gripped, with the use of singing bowls and atmospheric music by Ross Daly. I thoughly enjoyed myself and it affirmed my love of greek mythology; Midas, Persephone and Arachne I was bought up reading these stories so it was wonderful to hear them spoken aloud. Today I will mostly be sitting in the sun, it is the first real hot day since our terrible winter and because we seem to have short summers I will be making the most of it in the communal gardens where I live. The down side is they are small and people stare when you sit outside, rug and art supplies in hand I will be having some creative fun in the sun. Stories of art inspiration and tea! After a short break…. So I am back, sorry that I have not posted however sometimes life gets a little in the way…. Plus I have also made another small journal just a small peak – all the pages are painted and ready for journal work. This one is easier to carry around with me as it is smaller. As I said I have continued on with my own journey, this takes me to my own creativity and my relationship with anxiety and depression and whether they have an effect on my art.
