Friday, May 30, 2014. We have been busy making this house our home. We have multiple projects going on right now! It's exciting and exhausting! The biggest project is finishing the basement (I will post pics soon). It's been a large undertaking to say the least! So in roughly 2 weeks it should be wrapped up! We're looking forward for it to be done! Andy is also tackling some outdoor projects. One big thing is painting the trim.we've both had issues with the red trim from the get-go. The work in progress.

Friday, August 1, 2014. We had a great time at Polk City's 4 Season's Festival.there was a great parade:. Brady won some some ring toss games.. He got 3rd in the Tractor pull. Might have helped if we would have put tennis shoes on him instead of sandals.oh well! Bounce house and pet petting fun! Mason wasn't wanting his picture taken.gotta love the age of 2! Brady definitely inherited my love for basketball! We spent most of the winter cheering on our favorite teams.UNI Panthers, Kansas Jayhawks and many others! We had to get in our UNI gear for some pics the day that they played in the tourney. He had to show off his UNI bracelet.so silly! Links to this post.

Monday, January 5, 2015. We had a wonderful Christmas and we hope you did too! We did start the Holidays with some illness. Brady came down with a nasty virus and it changed our Christmas Eve plans a bit but all that mattered was that we were together! We started Christmas morning at home.here are some pics! The boys excited to head to the basement to see if Santa came! The boys enjoying the gifts from Mom and Dad. Mason with his gift from Santa. Brady was so excited that Santa came! 5 days in colorado.

Wednesday, July 30, 2014. Last week we spent a few days up in Minnesota with many of the Petersen side of my family. It was an awesome vacation! The house we stayed in was right on the water.. We had 5 bedrooms and the house was very nice! Brady had a blast playing in the water with Tyler and Trey! Time for some mini-golf!

Tuesday, January 6, 2015. After a quick breakfast we loaded up and drove to Gowrie. Once everyone was there it was time for a yummy brunch and gifts! We were all so spoiled and the boys were so excited to play with their cousins and their new toys! Our time in Gowrie was somewhat quick.we headed to Kimballton Friday morning.we were on the go, go, go! Mason had so much fun opening gifts this year. It was so fun to see him get in to it this year!
