I know everyone thinks that about their children, but he really is just the best. He's compassionate and kind and honest and hilarious and just a really good kid. Monday, August 29, 2016. First Day and House Update. Today was Xander's first day of 2nd grade! He was so excited and has been ready to go back for a couple weeks now. We crammed in a lot of fun to the end of our summer. A profile of the renovation of our new home. Wheel of Fortune Before and After. Kitchen left side. New cabinets, appliances, tile, paint, window, sink and faucet. Kitchen right side. Counter extended to add dishwasher. Shelves to be hung above backsplash. Dining room. Walls refinished. Chair rail, crown molding and beautiful color palette. New windows. Notice the chandelier. I spray painted the existing one and changed the bulb covers to lamp shades. Cost: $15 each (there are 2). Bathroom new tub and tile.
