HARRISISWHERE: January 2011
http://harrisisswhere.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, 29 January 2011. My flight to Panama was great. I sat next to two women from Panama city, a mother and daughter both called Monica, and in-front of a lovely woman from Colombia who sold CSI equipment. Both the Monicas spent the whole flight either a). Trying to scare the hell out of me with horror stories about organ snatchers, muggers, bandits, killers and the like, or b). Arrival in Panama, the greenest rain-forests I've ever seen. The view looking out over the bay from my dorm. About 8 of us...

HARRISISWHERE: People in Ecuador wear funny hats!
http://harrisisswhere.blogspot.com/2011/03/on-to-to-ecuador.html
Saturday, 12 March 2011. People in Ecuador wear funny hats! After a few days in Salento it was time to start heading south and say goodbye to Colombia. I wasn't there nearly long enough and am all too aware that I sacrificed some amazing opportunities to learn a bit of Spanish. Hearing stories from friends on the road about treks to the Lost city and time spent in the Northern park of Tayrona was heartbreaking! Turns out the manager is from Cambridge, so we managed to string up a rapport straight away.

HARRISISWHERE: March 2011
http://harrisisswhere.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 23 March 2011. Mancora and Lima, Peru. Firstly, I must apologise for the infrequency of my updates, I've been struggling to get decent internet connection anywhere that will allow me to download photos! Anyways, here goes. A great little new hostel in the centre of town with a pool and a swim up bar! The beach at Mancora. Paddy's day with Sabryna. She went a bit overboard with the bodypaint! Amazing ceviche in Lima. Parque Central by night. Incredible architecture around Lima's Plaza Mayor.

HARRISISWHERE: Cusco and Lake Titicaca, Peru
http://harrisisswhere.blogspot.com/2011/04/cusco-and-lake-titicaca-peru.html
Saturday, 16 April 2011. Cusco and Lake Titicaca, Peru. I arrived in Cusco prepared for action, as soon as I arrived I got myself booked on the Inca trail (a stroke of luck considering the 2-3 month waiting lists during peak season) with one of the most reputable companies in town. I spent my first three nights there at a hostel called Wild Rover. Plaza de Armas in Cusco. Anyway, I diverse, I eventually decided to move to another hostel called Pariwana. Dinner with the Pariwana crew. On one of the floati...

HARRISISWHERE: February 2011
http://harrisisswhere.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Monday, 28 February 2011. More Medellin and Zona Cafeteria. Last week at the Blacksheep in Medellin was spent with a pretty dull but rewarding routine of:. B) walking to the supermarket for supplies for the day and dosing up on cafe tinto to mentally get me through it. C) studying for 2 hours. D) 2-3 hours of gruelling 1 on 1 Spanish lessons (great teacher though). G) a stroll around El Poblado district and bed. Juan, one bad ass mover! A smooth 100% Arabica Borbon, beans picked 400 yards away. The place...
