May 14, 2016 /. A single mother in training mode. So, the 15k is quickly approaching and I really hope I do well this year! I’m only up to about 10k in mileage so far …got a ways to go in my training yet but I think it’s going well. I think last time my pace suffered because I either over trained or didn’t train well. So far, my pace is still improving. Maybe I’m doing better or maybe this plan is a better fit. Who knows. And I did better than expected! I love that race! That’s all any of us can do.

Thursday, May 30, 2013. Morning Glory: Overcoming Disappointment. Doesn't matter who you are, we have all experienced disappointment. It's definitely not a great feeling. Unmet expectations - unfulfilled dreams/hopes - being let down by a person or ourselves - frustration -. It happens. It hurts. This last season of my life was met with several personal disappointments.situations I had no control over and no matter how hard I tried, they were not going to be "fixed". Will we allow them to overcome us?
