The Jackson Family: January 2009
http://actionjacksons.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Call it a clan, call it a network, call it a tribe, call it a family. Whatever you call it, whoever you are, you need one.". Tuesday, January 27, 2009. NOwe have not fallen off the face of the earth! I am so sorry for the LONG delay in posting anything here. We are all good, and Caroline is growing and developing into quite a little girl. It makes me so sad that she is no longer my baby. Although, she still reminds me that she is "Mommy's Baby," so I will take it! Thanks for being patient! And, then FOUR!

Call it a clan, call it a network, call it a tribe, call it a family. Whatever you call it, whoever you are, you need one.". Tuesday, May 26, 2009. I have been so terrible. About keeping up with our blog lately. My apologies! This, along with all my other 2009 resolutions, as I am still trying to get them off the ground. Things are great in the Jackson world, and we have been busy with work, school, and play. And Avery did better than ever skiing. Here is Josh recovering from a treeline fall on a Black.

Call it a clan, call it a network, call it a tribe, call it a family. Whatever you call it, whoever you are, you need one.". Monday, November 17, 2008. The last several weeks have been full of excitement as we have been enjoying fall, even if has not felt very "fallish." We visited a local pumpkin patch for some super cute pictures of Caroline. And, early in the month, we traveled to Lafayette for Josh's cousin's wedding. Must be her daddy, right? Fall is also never complete with FOOTBALL! And, this year...

CopelandNorthside: Wednesday's lunch
http://copelandnorthside.blogspot.com/2008/09/wednesdays-lunch.html
Wednesday, September 3, 2008. I don't know what's worse. that this was my lunch today (tuna and tree bark crackers) or that I wasn't able to set aside 10 minutes to eat it until after 3:30pm. My coworker is enjoying vacation (which I already took full advantage of. see postings in July) so I'm holding down the extra work. Yes, it was healthy and cheap. But not something I want to make a habit of. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Amy and Josh Jackson. Lunchtime diversion: Cubs Rally! Kinda like my week.

CopelandNorthside: Dinner at Otom... a lesson in molecular gastronomy
http://copelandnorthside.blogspot.com/2008/08/dinner-at-otom-lesson-in-molecular.html
Tuesday, August 12, 2008. Dinner at Otom. a lesson in molecular gastronomy. So tonight I was able to knock one meal off the Chicago dining wish list: dinner at Otom - Homaro Cantu's more "casual" restaurant that is the brother to his experimental Moto restaurant. Cantu has been written up in many. Has having some of the most unique, creative and experimental. Dishes in a type of dining called Molecular Gastronomy. It's completely bizarre and thoroughly entertaining. Not just because your mouth has a ...

Sunday, August 31, 2008. Polish food and polka. Nowadays, Chicago is the headquarters of every major Polish organization in the US. Polish people are the largest white ethnic group in Chicago, and they claim to have the largest Polish population of any city outside Poland (185,000). Pretty incredible. http://copelandnorthside.blogspot.com/2008/09/lunchtime-diversion-cubs-rally.html
Tuesday, September 30, 2008. Lunchtime diversion: Cubs Rally! I realize that I've only been here a year, and in that time I have watched more baseball games- - specifically Cubs games than ever in my previous 31 years of living. But you can't help but like the Cubs when you live here. Cubs fans are legendary.devoted.fanatic. You name it - but Cubs fever is officially in full-effect. Case-in-point: today's rally downtown at noon. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Amy and Josh Jackson. Kinda like my week.

Thursday, September 25, 2008. Favorite Chicago memory so far. I'm in the midst of emails between me and a potential date right now, and a question that was asked has given me reason to think a lot about the past year I've spent here in Chicago. Simply, the question was "what's your favorite Chicago memory so far? Who knew it could be so tough to answer. So to you, reader, I offer a list of some of the most top-of-mind:. Listening to the Lyric Opera perform a free concert in Millennium Park last September...
