Wednesday, 30 July 2008. Within the space of two weeks Sydney had the visits of both the Pope, and then me and Barry. They didnt know what hit them. Sydney was a dodgy time, at first. As mentioned before, my bank screwed me over with my overdraft, I was eaten alive by bed bugs, and general lack of enjoyment was creeping in. Were heading on Friday and it almost seems too soon-those first few days really knocked us back a bit. Now the sun is out and were all smiles again, but the East Coast calls. I suppos...

Friday, 23 May 2008. Found out the other day two exciting things:. That we dont need injections for Singapore. This was a good find, because said injections can cost more than a little (but less than a lot). And that our holiday visas are only like 17 euro! Sure whats the point in having them if they are more or less free? Anyhow, it can be done on the internet which means we can do it anytime. In other words, Baz an I shall be frantically booking out Visas in Dublin Airport an hour before take off.

Saturday, 2 August 2008. Was one of the original 'prison settlements' for British criminals, way back in the early 1800s. How on earth they got here is beyond me. The place is stuck away in the middle of nowhere, between Sydney and Brisbane, but miles away from both. Admittedly it is on the coast, so they must have sailed for feckin months. Fair play to them.
