However, the new changes for Brooklyn this month we are so excited to share. Brooklyn started Kindergarden this month. She is so excited and already lots of friends in her class and is quickly making more. She loves her teacher, new clothes- thank you grandma and grandpa- and backpack. August 3, 2010 at 11:02 AM. Tuesday, April 8, 2008. And Elder Ballard's talk, made me think that maybe it isn't just me. I am hoping to take to heart and practice what he taught to enjoy my children more and not focus on accomplishing so much. This poem just made me laugh about the struggles. Of being a "perfect Mormon. Mom" which there isn't so I guess I will just stop trying to be perfect and try to enjoy the process a little more. I don't know if this even makes sense, but it has helped me just to put the feeling into words.

Her surgery went very well, the doctor was pleased and she was actually able to be home most of the day today to recover here. We feel so blessed for all of the prayers, phone calls and service offered for her today. I think that in the hurried moments of today, I didn't express my appreciation adequately.
