It’s a tired one today. My head feels too heavy for my neck this evening, despite it resting on pillows. Although I was back in my own bed last night, and I fell asleep swiftly, I found myself waking up a couple of times during the night again, and having difficulty falling back asleep. I went to a workshop today on being an effective researcher. I think I found it useful, though we will see how much I can implement and how it helps. Over the coming months. Today I apologised to the workshop convenor as soon as I had occasion, and her response made me feel immediately at ease. The good, the bad, and the night time. It’s gone 2.30 am and I can’t sleep. It’s not unusual for me to be unable to sleep, though typically I just feel awake. Tonight I’m feeling anxious. I’ve been feeling pretty anxious all week.
