Wednesday, November 7, 2012. I had to be at Banner Desert at 6 am yesterday, Election Day. We mailed our ballots in. I didn't sleep much the night before because I was so nervous! I knew I could sleep later during surgery. I hate getting IV's, but the nurse got it on the first try, on the back of my hand. I kissed Dave goodbye, and was on my way. I woke up to Dave telling me that they had to take both sides of the thyroid off. Dang it! I am feeling better tonight. Dave and Susie Crandell.

Especially when the doctor told me that he expected it to be cancer! I got the GREAT phone call at 2:34 today! Benign. I am so happy, happy, happy. Friday, June 18, 2010. I am reading "Knockout" by Suzanne Somers, which someone who is going through cancer suggested I read. I would suggest everyone read this book! I will NEVER do chemo, and I would beg anyone else not to either. I am feeling great, and feel so blessed to be so healthy and not have to do any treatments. Life is so, so good. Early in the evening Paul took his small bag of magic reindeer dust out to the front lawn and sprinkled it around, to guide the reindeer to our home. Paul really enjoyed the flight, though the questions never stopped on the way to the to the airport and the entire flight. We left home at 5:00am and I was amazed he never napped all day.
