A collection of random thoughts and Thornton moments. Sunday, June 30, 2013. Wanted to post a couple of videos for our family/friends. Isaiah (almost 17 months) LOVES playing basketball. The boy will fall down the stairs before he lets go of his ball (no this hasn't happened yet) He comes home from daycare each night and goes straight to his playroom to play ball. So funny! After combing his hair down.lol We call this the "Dooley Dew". Isaiah flirting at the girl at the table next to us at Tres Mexicanos.

Tuesday (11/27/12), after my 4th visit to the vet and $600 later, we learned that our boy has congestive heart failure. An x ray showed his heart is enlarged and there is fluid around it and fluid in his belly. His breathing is labored because the blood isn't pumping properly. Thanks to all for the prayers! Realized today as I put Ellis in her crib for a nap (trying to get her use to her room/crib- practice makes perfect, right? That I haven't yet posted her nursery pics. A collection of random thoughts and Thornton moments. Saturday, December 14, 2013. A little Thornton update while my babies take a nap. Ellis is one SWEET/GOOD baby. Everyone warned us that we wouldn't get lucky the 2nd time (Isaiah was easy too) but she is even better than he was. Yes, I am ready for a 3rd :) Just kidding mom! Baby girl will go down around 9:30/10 and she'll sleep sometimes until 6am and she's in her own crib. Transitioned her right at 2 months so JT and I could have our room back.

Sunday, June 22, 2014. The first 5 anniversaries Brett and I have spent working, basketball camps or whatever it may be. Pizza Shuttle was usually our main dinner. Tuesday, May 12, 2015. I got to start Mother's day early when I got to go visit JT at preschool for Art with Mom! He was pumped for me to be there. They sang a little song and read a book for us, then we got to go look at their art work. I love that they are learning about important artists like Van Gogh and Seurat at such a young age. Tuesday, January 21, 2014. How did this day come so fast. I know I've said it EVERY birthday for EVERY one of our kids, but SERIOUSLY. I think I may be more emotional this time around because I know she will be our last baby to be at our house, to be in our arms, and to watch the last milestones once again through her! I LOVE my little Breagan so very much. I truly can't believe that she is turning ONE! 3 1/2 weeks early. In a new city than our other babies. In a new house. New hospital and Dr. to us.

Friday, August 12, 2016. Flexible Seating and Daily 5. Today was the first day of my 10th year teaching! I think every year it gets a little easier, but I am always learning something new. This year, I really want to embrace flexible seating, Daily 5, and CAFE. For the first time in 10 years, I did not assign kids seats. They got to pick, and will get to pick each day!
