Thoughts From There
Our thoughts are tied to the places we've been: both in the world and in life. Thoughts From There. Aims to represent that connection, and to highlight the beauty of the world through maps. Please read the poetry, and explore the map. A new perspective, a simple change of hue and contrast can render the world's islands, lakes, and seas as animals, beasts, characters. I hope you enjoy. Thoughts from the Ridge
Thoughts from the Ridge. Tuesday, May 19, 2015. When we first got Chip and Dale. They were afraid to go outside. We rescued them from a shelter where they had spent their entire life inside. Outside was very scary. Now, if they don't get to go outside, they drive us nuts running around the house, chasing each other, jumping up to look out windows etc. They are great hunters and they often bring me "gifts" Gifts I could do without, but yet I find them on the deck occasionally. Friday, May 15, 2015. So we ...

That storm of my thoughts is raging tonight. The only thing that gets me through it is knowing that it has to end. I know this, because it’s not my first storm. So I ride out the wind and the waves the best I can and wait for the sun to rise with its promise of a new day where, hopefully, I will believe in myself again and find the will to kee...

from the rock | …thoughts and stories to inspire
8230;thoughts and stories to inspire. A story i never get tired of telling. I really wanted to play basketball. So, in my mature 12 year old brain popped the thought “I have seen my parents drive this van hundreds of times I’m sure I can figure out how to back it down the driveway.” Despite my brothers trying to convince me otherwise I decided to give it a try. I will never forget this act of forgiveness and the undeserved grace my dad showed me that day. There is no sin too great for God to forgive....

Thoughts from a Sales Guy from the Farm
Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Just got back from a vacation with the family. While I can't say there wasn't fighting (between kids and even between my wife and I) it was a great time! Monday, July 6, 2015. Is it a lost skill? Is it the holy grail? I think it is one of the secrets of life. I take it back to the golden rule - treat others as you want to be treated. Is that too hard? Are we too lazy to do it? Or do we just not care? Think what a great world this would be if we just followed this simple rule?
