Cherkauskas Family Blog: Trip to the Kids' Museum
http://cherkauskasfamily.blogspot.com/2010/02/trip-to-kids-museum.html
Just a way for family and friends to keep up with what's going with us. Saturday, February 6, 2010. Trip to the Kids' Museum. After Bill's January trip to Afghanistan and week-long field exercise that followed it, we were in definite need of a Saturday family day. So we headed up to Tucson for some Children's Museum fun. Here are a few of the pictures from the day. Building blocks up only to make them fall down (and take himself with them). Carefully placing a piece into the giant Connect 4 game.

Just a way for family and friends to keep up with what's going with us. Thursday, July 30, 2009. Drew just completed another round of swim lessons this morning and he's improving so much! We're so proud of our little fishy.well, technically he is a Seal now, not a fishy, but you know what I mean. These lessons were 4 days a week for 2 weeks and were perfectly timed before preschool. As always, he loved his teacher, listened well, and displayed no fear whatsoever. Drew practicing his underwater bobs.

We had quite a busy weekend with two birthday parties and a bowling social event with Bill's unit. Drew was unbelievably excited about all of these activities. How much more fun can you pack into two days? Oh why not dinner out at My Big Fat Greek Restaurant too? Drew running back to the site of the treasure chest's discovery. The Murrays: June 2009
http://daytonflyermurrays.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 9, 2009. Since Brian has to be out at Ft. Lewis for a month and a half this summer he wanted to have a car with him so we decided to make a road trip out to Washington. It had been 20 years since I'd been out through that part of the country and I'd never been to Washington before so I was pretty excited about going. To make the trip go quicker (and be more relaxing! We found a hotel with our trusty new GPS and got extremely lucky to be staying in the same town as the famed Corn Palace!

Just a way for family and friends to keep up with what's going with us. Monday, June 22, 2009. Happy Belated Father's Day to any dads reading out there. We spent our father's day weekend doing a couple different things. You can see Picacho Peak in the background of this picture. It's famous for being the site of the westernmost battle (really a skirmish) of the Civil War ( http:/ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle of Picacho Pass. Bill and Drew in front of the Ostrich Ranch sign. Sunday we spent some family ti...

Cherkauskas Family Blog: Our Return Trip Stops...
http://cherkauskasfamily.blogspot.com/2010/01/our-return-trip-stops.html
Just a way for family and friends to keep up with what's going with us. Tuesday, January 19, 2010. Our Return Trip Stops. Since our stop in Williams on the way to Vegas didn't permit a trip to the Grand Canyon (darn snow), we decided to give it another try on the way back. The remnants of the winter storm we experienced were still evident, with plenty of snow and a fair amount of icy walkways too. Because of that, we didn't stay long, but we did go. Drew and Daddy standin' on the corner.

http://cherkauskasfamily.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Just a way for family and friends to keep up with what's going with us. Friday, December 25, 2009. Our Polar Express Adventure. I'm writing this on the evening of Christmas, so first, I wish you all a Merry Christmas. We arrived at my parents' house in Las Vegas two days ago, but our trip here was not without its adventures. We had a planned stop on our drive up here. Our destination? Daddy giving Drew some deer feed. Drew posing in front of the reindeer's pen. Drew in a winter wonderland. In retrospect,...

The Murrays: August 2008
http://daytonflyermurrays.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 29, 2008. We're not in Kansas anymore. But we were last week! Ok, that was really cheesy.anyways. And amazingly Ian wore a hat for a good bit of the time we were there. When Brian went to put it on him I said, "He hates hats. He won't wear it." Hmm, I guess Daddy has the magic touch. We did some other fun little stuff like go to the playground and the little lake on post and swim in the hotel pool. But the best part of our trip was getting to see our friends, the Cooks! So, we had a wonder...
