The boys have so much more room to play, and I don't trip over toys during Max's middle-of-the-night anxiety attacks. I didn't take any pictures, because well, just picture Max's room. with a crib. Not that exciting :). We changed up our garden with raised boxes this year and it has help tremendously! Maybe minus yellow zucchini.

It's taken a while to find recipes that matched my memory of Brasil, and they may not be perfect, but close enough for me. If you're not into Brasilian food. don't read the post! This recipe makes a lot. I always forget how much until its too late). It seems to almost be impossible to screw this one up, so feel free to experiment a little. 8 cups dried black beans. 3 to 4 bay leaves.

Daniel and I spent an hour before church, shoveling the parking lot and breaking the packed snow off of the sidewalk. The same co-worker came to church, saw the clean sidewalk and pulled me aside to let me know that he wouldn't stand for the type of behavior. He wasn't going to be shown-up at work AND church! It was all in good fun.

Saturday, October 27, 2007. Saturday morning has to be my favorite time of the weekend. Usually I am up around 5:30 am (that's sleeping in from my 3:00 am work week wake up time!
