Three on a match. Friday, July 11, 2008. A quick entry, photos will be forthcoming:. We left Carnival with all the essentials and realized that we still had time to kill before Dennis' flight so we stopped at Toyota of Irving to hassle the car salesmen there. We kicked some tires wasted some time (theirs and ours) and got to the airport just as Dennis deplaned. We scooped up his bag ( thank God he only had one! We left Amarillo heading due west to our final destination of the day, Tucumcari, New Mexico.

Getting up at the crack of noon, ...

Three on a match. Saturday, July 12, 2008. Rainy days and Sundays. We awoke Saturday to a steady rain and overcast skies. The Manager of the Sahara Motel recommended the Kik 66 diner down the street for breakfast. After an excellent meal of bacon, eggs and pancakes, we stopped for few minutes before leaving Tucumcari and took a few photos of of the business that have failed over the years once Route 66 was bypassed or enveloped by I 40. More to be posted later, running out of energy, both mine and the la...

Monday, November 30, 2009. It's great to be able to have a break. The body has a chance to rest and the mind has the time to be filled. More than that, there is also a chance to meet people and continue to build relationship. I wonder why all these cannot be done together with work. It makes work appear to be the evil one. Perhaps. But there is a way to prevent falling in - don't even start looking. Lust starts with the eyes, remember? Master Your Mind, Design Your Destiny. What about with God? Putting u...
