In particular. Monique tried David Lebovitz’s recipe. For the dish. About a month ago, I tried a rendition from allrecipes.com. But after Monique’s rave about David’s recipe, I decided to give it a look. This time I ended up combining the two recipes for my own version of the dish. We painted the front double d...

It's A Dog's Life: Close Encounter Of The Deer Kind
http://justadogslife.blogspot.com/2014/06/close-encounter-of-deer-kind.html
It's A Dog's Life. Saturday, June 28, 2014. Close Encounter Of The Deer Kind. At least today my morning walk was kind of interesting. As we rounded the bend in the road at the top of the hill a young doe stepped out of the trees to greet me. I think it might have been Myra, the baby deer that Rachel and Kim rescued from the water in the book Rachel And The Wizard Of Lake Lure. That you can see here. David reads me that story sometimes at night before I go to sleep. Anyway it looked like her.

It's A Dog's Life. Tuesday, November 5, 2013. Well, the pool cover went back on last week, and again the temptation was too much for my canine brain to resist. They should have known that, and they should have started walking me on the leash again. After all, we only have a few more days here at the lake, before heading down to Florida for the winter. Assisi | The Word

A telling of events from a vermonter. A Semester Abroad: Cornell in Rome. The Vatican and Wine Tasting →. March 7, 2010. Yesterday, Saturday, Cornell in Rome went to Assisi, the home of Saint Francis. It was a beautiful hilltop town, with a lot to see. The professor who was leading our tour had done her dissertation here, so she was familiar with the town and brought us to some spectacular places. Here is a view from the edge of the plaza, the hills were full of freshly pruned olive trees. There are long...
