Dec 27th, 2013 10:50 pm. I work in a hospital, pretty much the last place you'd expect to find a real thrift horror item. I walked into our utility room to get rid of a dinner tray, and I felt something staring at me. From behind a large piece of equipment came this little slice of hell. I have no idea where in the hospital it came from, and that's probably a good thing. By all accounts Carnival season got off to a great start last weekend throughout South Mississippi and the fun just gets more amped up this weekend with eight parades. That's right, eight parades - seven on Saturday and another on Sunday. So grab your fish nets, put on your Mardi Gras best and get out there and grab all the throws you can get. Bay St. Louis Krewe of Kids: 11 am. Krewe of Legacy: Pass Christian, noon. Krewe of River City: Moss Point, 1 pm.
