The consortium has developed regionally-based courses, including a variety of short courses and an improved Masters programme at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Unversity College. KCMUCo) with a particular emphasis on research methods, to which academic staff from almost all partner institutions have contributed. Thrive Teen Parent Support Trust is a non-profit organisation supporting teen parents to become confident and secure with their tamariki, whanau and community. The Trust was set up in 2010 in response to an eighteen month collaborative community research project which called for a dedicated teen parent support service in Auckland.
