Double jaw surgery, maxillofacial surgery, singing, jaw pain. Thursday, February 27, 2014. A little over 7 months… Braces are OFF! The most exciting thing is I got my top braces off about 3 weeks ago, and this past Monday I got my bottom braces off! It feels amazing to have that part done and over with. I forgot what normal teeth feel like, which is totally amazing, white, and slimy. No more coffee stained braces! I will post some before and after pics soon! Back to work I go! It seems like it was just a few days ago I was arriving at Kaiser, and waking up with my jaw wired shut. Life seems to be getting back to semi-normal. I feel great, the only problems I have had is due to me being so busy I forget to do my jaw stretches so my jaw has become pretty tight again.
