Monday, February 3, 2014. Good Bye Good Dog. Twelve and a half years ago, we were blessed with a little 4-legged angel. It was 2001 and I had finally talked Scott into getting a dog. He just had a short list of requirements: no barking, short hair, not hyper, loves water, mellow (did I mention, not hyper? And under 60 pounds. That's a pretty tough list. But I figured it out.the Rhodesian Ridgeback! Baby Morgan with her namesake. I picked the dog, Scott picked the name. Hanging on the bow with the new baby.

Monday, October 22, 2012. One of Tagg's pre-school classmates turned five today and is graduating to the kindergarten class. He was talking about the bus and "real" school and seemed excited about it, but a little sad he was moving on so I thought I'd ask him about it. Here's how that brilliant idea went down. Me: Tagg, do you like school? Tagg: Because I like Nickelodeon. Tagg: I'd rather go to Nickelodeon school. Mayday. No more cartoons in the morning, or he'll be graduating from VH1 high.

Friday, March 15, 2013. In an attempt to be healthy, drop some poundage, and get in summer shape, we've been cooking more fish lately. It's just barely getting warm enough to grill outside, so we cook indoors. Well, the reality check here is that Scott is also petrified of grilling fish. It sticks, it burns, it cooks fast, it falls apart. Let's face it. Fish is tricky. So I finally turned to Google to help find some miracle cure for my stinky fish house. Tah-dah! Tuesday, November 13, 2012. I was putting Sloane to bed tonight, which is one of my favorite times of the day. We have a little routine. We read three books, usually Dora-related although I try to sneak in some of my favorites too. Then we sing three songs starting with Good Night Moon. The song Tagg and I made up years ago and has since become a family favorite. Sloane and I made up our own verse so it's her song too:. You're here too soon. I'm not ready to go night-night. Give everyone a kiss good night.
