병신년 새해가 밝았습니다. 다사다난했던 2015년도 역사의 한 페이지 속으로 남겨졌습니다. 지난 10년간 갑상선영상의학회를 이끌어 주시던 나동규 전회장님의 뒤를 이어 올해부터 부족함이 많은 제가 2년간 회장의 소임을 받아서 어깨가 무겁습니다. 나동규 고문님과 백정환 전 총무이사님의 헌신적인 노력과 여러 다른 이사님들의 열정적인 도움으로 오늘의 갑영회가 있다고 확신합니다. 뒤 돌아 보면 초기 연구회로 시작된 저희 갑영회가 이제는 등록 정회원 313명의 다른 가군 학회 못지 않은 회원과 KJR의 위상을 높이는데 지대한 공헌을 한 핵심적인 학회로 성장한 것은 여러 회원님들의 노고라 생각하고 존경의 인사를 드립니다. 다행이 현 대영회 회장님과 핵심이사님들께서 저희 갑영회를 우호적으로 보고 계시고, 또한 가군과 나군학회로 나누는 자체를 재 심의하려는 움직임이 있으며, 현 대영회 집행부가 파악하고 대처 방안을 만들기 위한 시간이 필요하다는 요구가 있어 추이를 지켜보고 대응하도록 하겠습니다.
