Spoonfulls of Sugar: March 2015
http://spoon-fulls-of-sugar.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 26, 2015. I'm going to switch gears (sort of) for a little bit on the blog, and use it to store some ideas for school-related activities. Mainly because I deplore the amount of space that a file cabinet takes up, and then once you need something it takes forever to find it, even if it's filed, which who has time to do that anyway? If I save it to the computer, and the computer dies, it's gone. So here we are. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Five in Tow - Home. A Heart Full of My Handful.

Keeping it Together: July 2007
http://tiffslittlebeckwithboys.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 27, 2007. Here's Joshua playing run away and laugh! He loves to do this, he would have more fun if you scared, chased, and snuck up on him! Some of his favorite things! Here is my dear sweet Kyle.Kyle and I were playing a game, Jenga. As I was setting it up, he informed me that his friends wanted to play too! Well, that was fine with me, the more the merrier. So he brings his bucket of trains over and sets them up and we start playing the game. Silly me! He is so cute! Friday, July 20, 2007.

Sheldon 5: June 2011
http://sheldon5.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 19, 2011. We had the chance to go camping at Shaver the first weekend of vacation. The evenings were chilly, but the kids were all great. We kayaked with Erin (my cousin) and her family and had a great time. Came back a little sun burned and a lot dirty, but cleaned up quickly. The end of school marked the completion of Avery's first year of flute. SHe has loved it. and has practiced almost entirely without complaining. She is making wonderful progress. Spoonfulls of Sugar: July 2014
http://spoon-fulls-of-sugar.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 14, 2014. Several weeks ago, we visited friends and family in Tennessee, one of whom is a very sweet lady who I *may* have been named after. She also is a fantastic cook, and normally serves vegetables that they have grown themselves and canned. Clearly, sharing a name with her must have set me on this path. It's destiny. 1 lb Yellow Squash. 4 T butter, divided. 1/4 cup mayo (I use Duke's. We're in the south). 1/2 cup shredded cheese of your choice. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Spoonfulls of Sugar: February 2014
http://spoon-fulls-of-sugar.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 19, 2014. Well, most of the free world that cares knows we had an ice storm followed by mass power outages which sort of forced cancellation of our dinner party. I was in denial on Wednesday, and so even though we didn't have power, I kept making preparations, like this one:. Some of us found other ways to entertain ourselves during the power outage. Still not sure who won this arm-wrestling match pictured below. Once we got to her house, I poached apples that were to have been in the...

Keeping it Together: April 2008
http://tiffslittlebeckwithboys.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 24, 2008. It seems that this is my only outlet at the moment. So, the boys and I get home for the day, everything is going really well, Kyle is extra lovey, Joshua's being his cute self, then.something happned; I have no idea what! Joshua wanted an orange, well, sure, I gave him one. Then, he was done and he said, "more please", so I said just a minute, and he threw a huge fit! Can you believe it! Because I wanted to."? I very calmly said that we don't ever do that, we talked for a minute...

Spoonfulls of Sugar: March 2014

Sunday, March 23, 2014. I'm not sure if I've ever mentioned that we sort of call this dinner "La Laverie" because all of the recipes come from the French Laundry cookbook, and La Laverie. Is French for The Laundromat. We call it this so far as it is printed on the menu. This year, I somehow got myself up to 7 courses, not including the gougeres. 1 Soft Poached Quail Eggs with Apple-wood Smoked Bacon (a.k.a. "bacon and eggs"). I call them tasty little bites. I've made this before too. The sorbet didn'...
