https://crazykathy.wordpress.com/2008/08/22/the-first-couple-of-days
A blog about the recent adventures of Kathy. Laquo; SHES HOME. The first couple of days. On August 22, 2008. Kathy has survived the first couple of days at home, and it has been good. It has been hard for her, but also really healing. She has been more active in the last 2 days than the previous 4 weeks, cried more, shouted more and laughed more. All good and healthy. Being at home is a really happy time too. She is up and down the stairs, enjoying her ‘doors’, playing with the grandkids,...Tomorrow even...

A blog about the recent adventures of Kathy. Laquo; Its all good, really. All good things…. At last, an update! On October 1, 2008. It is long, long overdue for an update, and we apologise for that. The messages we continue to receive from you are hugely appreciated and thank you! The lack of updates is due in part to a lack of information to update you with, and in part to having time just fly by over the last couple of weeks. Hopefully in the next 3-4 days we’ll have her up to that. It is still too ear...

Radiation starts today | Kathy Maloney
https://crazykathy.wordpress.com/2008/08/27/radiation-starts-today
A blog about the recent adventures of Kathy. Laquo; Big day out. On August 27, 2008. First radiation treatment today at about 2pm. Needless to say Kathy is a little bit nervous, both with regards to the radiation itself, and also with not knowing how effective it will be. Of course it is always the not knowing that is worse than the knowing. So hopefully this will prove to be good and effective, help get the pain under control and let Kathy back to being as normal as she can be! Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

https://crazykathy.wordpress.com/about
A blog about the recent adventures of Kathy. On the 26th of July 2008 Kathy was rushed into Auckland hospital by ambulance with severe back pain. Radiotherapy began on the 27th of August, and finished on the 9th of September. They performed a high dosage radiation in the hope of shrinking the main tumour. On the 11th of October w...

A blog about the recent adventures of Kathy. Laquo; Any one seen a zapper? Its all good, really. On September 8, 2008. Nine doses of radiation down and just one to go! Kathy has been doing really well with the treatment. Tired and run down for sure, but not giving in to the symptoms and being as stubborn and pig-headed as we know she can be. Which is fantastic of course! One response to “ Getting there. September 12, 2008 at 2:07 am. Still sending my thought messages. Give it heaps Kathy! You are comment...

A blog about the recent adventures of Kathy. Its all good, really. Apologies for the lack of updates, hasn’t been a lot to report and sure you all have other blogs to read. Anyways, we had the ‘final’ zapping the other day, and it went well. Were scheduled to meet the elusive doctor ‘Kavitz’ (or something like that, never paid much attention to his name, he’s never paid much attention to us), but he sent along some junior doctor… who by the way was really great. Only one more dose to go tomorrow and we&#...
