Saturday, August 23, 2014. TSII #452: Schmidt's Celtic Cutter II. This post is devoted to a single saddle. Since this blog started, (Dec. 2012), there haven't been a lot of these, but it's my hope to change that! And this is a pretty special piece, since it's got some new aspects - things I've never done before. Previous posts cover the bridle and breastcollar. Every finished TSII saddle gets its own photo shoot, usually on the railing of the deck, if it's not winter. If I say so myself, I am satisfied.

Thursday, September 11, 2014. Natural Horsemanship in Minature. I used Natural Horsemanship when training all my horses, and am a true believer in that style of horsemanship being applied in all disciplines. I recently had a commission for a Clinton Anderson portrait saddle, rope halter, and "Handy Stick" and it came out lovely! Clinton Anderson is an Aussie with his own brand of Natural Horsemanship, and it was wonderful to make a mini version of things I actually used to use in the real world!

Tuesday, 19 May 2015. So, this Sunday I attended Sussex Showdown in Sussex (Obviously, lol). It was a performance and OF Halter show held by Liz Hibberd. For me, this was a 50 minute drive off the ferry which wasn't to bad, the plus side was that because it was so early in the morning the motorways were empty.handy when your so good at fluffing up which lane your supposed to be in! I can't thank her enough for snapping some of my ponies and allowing me to share her photo's, mine are all taken in a rush :).

She asked for something versatile with a few options for her to do a few things so I have include a extra saddle pad and a full stud girth. This should allow her to do Hunting, Show Jumping and Cross country if she wanted to. Hopefully she will like it.
